This 2 years old shallow tank had been lying unused for quite some time. The scape took me about 2 months from start to finish. Will be adding fish to this tank soon! Instagram: www.instagram.... THANKYOU FOR WATCHING!!
@@ecoden I know I would have trouble waiting after spending all that time and effort putting it together. But it’s so worth it, the effect is perfect. It looks so natural.
@ecoden try cherry barbs and mountain minnows beautiful nano fish get 6 cherry barbs and 6 minniow they are nano fish it will be perfect for this tank or get endler guppies
I clicked bc of the thumbnail and I was not dissapointed :) I love the relaxing music in the background and pond style is one of my favorite tank styles, thank you for sharing your artwork
Cheers from my fish room channel in Chicago, where i just subscribed to yours! How could I not? I can't think of a project I'd rather spend my time on than building something like this :)
@@vinithd6320 just what i preferred in this build. Wanted it more natural so didn't use much aquasoil. You can try out different stuff but this is whats working for me for now. Easy to get that volume since coco peat is easy to source.
There used to be a guy on yiu tube that made mini ponds with wild guppies in them before miniponds started getting more popular he mainly used round planters. His main purpose was the fish. I can't find his chsnnel do you know it? Where did you order these plants?
@ecoden Im getting ready to start an outdoor pond using a liner. It's really deep so I'm going to make it more shallow so plants like these are more visible. Thanks for the sources.
Hello, in my aquarium drift wood, small pieces will extend over the tank there one new mushroom started to grow. Please rply the Reason for that and is it harmful or not.
You can even exclude the styrofoam from the build. I just used it because i didn't trust this old tank which already had a crack that i sealed. Also if you're from US you get egg crates(i think thats what you call it. A plastic grid looking thing). And styrofoam is completely safe too. Have used it in multiple builds 🌿
Nope it doesn't alter the chemistry in the water. Been doing this past few years with no issues. Although you might need deeper substrate to cover it if you have fish that burrow into it. Make sure its a clean cut with like a hot knife so theres no loose styrofoam particles.
Beautiful tank what are the dimensions if i might ask and its gallons? I really wanna have a shallow one that plants will go above water and make it river style where i can keep hillstream loach Just wondering how shallow can it be❤
@@ecoden and it works very well, your video is being recommended here in Brazil. I think I'll do the same, cause I speak portuguese and my videos are waaaay limited to this language
