That blue Honda Hornet is Pretty dope though. By most account sv650 can handle as well as these bikes can except for the Fireblade. Sv650s are track day weapons apparently.

New pads would of taken care of the brakes on the TLR. Mine are freaking great. Also, lumpy? Its a race vtwin. It isn't going to be the smoothest. Also, the gear box is freaking phenomenal. Not "notchy" at all. This TLR needed to be serviced. The oil was probably over filled. TLRs are very picky with oil level. It will shift hard if it is even a little over the half way mark. The TLR is a fantastic piece of race bike history that doesn't get enough love. You never ever see them and people have no idea what the hell it is. They think it is a gixxer until you start it. I will never sell mine. It is staying with me until I am dead. Doing tons of work to it now and it is running so freaking strong. Comparable to my 2023 GSX S1000 on the top end, and more grunt down low. Once it gets into the mid and upper rpm range, it is arm pulling powerful for such a heavy bike. Amazing motor.
