I drive a 1.7sdi has been wonderful really 220k on the clocks everything works! Not fast but gets you there without fuss loves motorway easy 50+mpg average! Gear boxes can be a problem not if nursed an no drag starts lol its not a race car its reliable happy 5 years ownership in fairness only ever cost me service items no rust yet 😊

Do they have a 1998 model for the loop 03l TDI 1.2l with a manual gearbox? And does a clutch have a cable or does it have a hydraulic system?

VW never produced the Lupo 3L with a standard manual gearbox. Only available with an automatic gearbox that could also be shifted manually.

@@MrJohnEco thank you. I have heard of cars with automatic transmissions but can be shifted manually. That's all I know besides that my friends PT cruiser had one like that. I didn't want to mess with it. I do like stick shifts. But I don't want to transmission that can do both that's kind of freaky to me
