Hello! This is a pinned comment! Any additions, clarifications, corrections, or patch notifications will go below: I realised only after fully rendering the final video that this is F&F #11, not #10, so any mentions of episodes by number will be a number behind the episode I actually mean. This is my karma for skipping F&F #6 two years ago.
一=1 (Ichi, pronounce like itchy) 二=2 (Ni, pronounce like knee) 三=3 (San, pronounce like son or sun) 四=4 (Shi or Yon. Yon should be pronounced like yawn.) 五=5 (Go) 六=6 (Roku. Pronounce like lock) 七=7 (Nana. Pronounce like Nana the Grandma in Far Cry New Dawn) 八=8(Hachi. Pronounce like hatch) 九=9 (Kyu. Pronounce like cue) 十=10 (Ju. Pronounce like Jew) This is how we spell and pronounce numbers in Japan.
So glad little known figures in the community like "Jane Cloud" are finally getting the recognition they deserve, instead of being overshadowed by her brother, Charlie
the lines and "symbol" are literally just numbers 1 to 4 in japanese, its in the alphabet it shares w chinese btw, so chinese and japanese numbers are exactly the same
@@TITANia69420IOI may have set it in Japan, but they are not a Japanese company, so I could very easily see the connotations being missed, especially since if they were noticed, 47/"Tobias Reaper" would have been a better choice for that room anyway.
@@bandana_girl6507 Maybe they intentionally added it lol. The Cowboy guy's always a Knife Throw distance away everytime I go out to starting point's balcony
I've been thinking about hosting a tournament for ages now! My biggest worry has been that there might not be enough people willing to sign up, but considering my survey already has 106 responses, maybe it's not too far-fetched!
Speaking of ambient conversations on an endless loop, there's one on Dartmoor that has a bodyguard and a maid flirting. It's basically just one or two lines each on an endless loop. It's kinda distracting when you have to be in ear shot for any length of time.
Didn't expect The Finals in my Hitman video, but that's why I love this channel so much! I'll be honest, the biggest thing I learned from this video was that the symbols on uniforms in Hokkaido actually appear by the doors--I just don't know how I missed that until now.
Doors can be opened by auto handguns, but not by regular ones. I knew that... Source: Early in the game I turned a door into Swiss cheese with a semi-auto 9mm, then spent the next 150 hours believing I can't open them with any handgun, only with SMG or above.
8:04 That symbol is "4". In Japan, the number 4 is associated with death, which is why that room is assigned to Amos Dexter the cowboy instead of Tobias Rieper, I guess. Missed opportunity.
Oh damn, I really did always assume that The Big One is just another distraction item. Had no idea that it's so useful. That's on me for not being creative enough I guess
I think the no time no see can be said with any suit but there are some really funny dialoges in the game. One is that if a woman sees you do something illegal when you are dressed as the masseur in marrakesh and when telling the guards what you look like she will say something like. There was a bald man in sweatpants, and i think he wasn't wearing any underwear. (Edit there are some videos on RU-vid that show these funny lines)
I didn't recognise your channel when I clicked and I am so glad I did, this video was really cool to watch as it just confirmed a bunch of hunches I had about the game, e.g I thought I was insane when 47 tripped down the elevator and died in Mumbai and was confused about cameras in the icon. I will definitely be turning on notifications for future videos, keep up the good work
Love the video, I never knew about the symbols for the disguises in Hokkaido, or that you can do the secondary objective in Ambrose using an EMP. But what was that clip right at the end hahaha
The first one with the camera I’ve known for quite a while that it sets you back to silent Assasin after destroying the evidence I thought you’d still get sa if you were just seen on it normally walking around but I’m guessing it’ll just give you clean Assasin rating? Also I didn’t know the propane and the big one accident kill 🤣
14:55 i think my favorite npc conservations are the two guards in Colorado at Berg's garage and a lifeguard talking with a lady just north of the restaurant in Haven Island
7:52 to 8:00 its just 1,2,3 and 4 in Japanese kanji. ichi (1), ni (2), san (3), shi (4). also fun fact the symbols are also the same in Chinese they are just pronounced differently. Well with all that being said welcome back its been awhile.
You can never stop learning new facts about this game! One of my friends who plays Hitman like it's a part-time job admitted to me that he didn't know about the rake trick in Sapienza.
I don't think I'll properly publish it, but it will definitely at least be uploaded as an unlisted video and shared via the Discord and a post on here.
Wait NPCs can't actually see you place down objects? I must've been too slow the last time and the bar simply filled up, this will be useful in Freelancer. Also I'm pretty sure the "getting away with running over NPCs during the Outro Cutscene" was introduced in a patch, at least I feel like I remember reading about that. The biker in Sapienza has a habit of being run over when exiting with the car and if I remember correctly would ruin SA runs so it got changed because it wasn't fair to players since it was basically just RNG. It's extremely rare to kill a NPC during a Cutscene even intentionally so making it not ruin SA just benefits players. While I knew the outfits in Hokkaido had different symbols on the back I never noticed that they were also located above the key card locks, as well as the VIP rooms with matching colors. Only focused on if the door was locked or not. I really need to start experimenting with different tools as I never do anything with the EMP stuff and Coins are basically the only Distraction Tools I use even after 1K hours with this trilogy. lol
