Useful Weakspots - World Of Tanks [GUIDE]

the weakspot at 4:58 in the video is very useful against the minotauro if one is pushing you over the hill. You can track him and do damage with the same shot, preventing him from being able to depress his gun to shoot you in return

Engine deck shots are some of my favorites when I'm being cheeky. First time I ever took advantage of overmatching engine decks was when an Is7 tried to face hug me in my 50b a few years back. Easy 1600 to the engine deck lol

Another weakspot not many people know about on the conq and SCONQ is the gun mantlet, it is actually very weak and most tier 9 and 10 gold shells will pen it, I use this to my advantage in tournaments and always surprise enemy sconqs by penning them their.

Steve, T7 pasta triangle DOES NOT have 80mm of mantlet armor, it has around 260 much like the rest of the frontal turret. I tested it with a T55a, 221 base ap pen and 330 heat, AP DOES NOT go thru while heat does. The model is bugged, it doesnt have the correct value in the game files. Same with Obj 140s gun armor, the value it shows is way too high (and yes i did test that too)

Knowing about tank armor profiles and roughly what you can overmatch with the biger guns is a core mechanic of the game. Knowing weaknes of your tank and that of the enemy tank is what makes the game fun. Heavy tank players need to be more attentive to armor values than any other class. How ever even a glarin weakpoint can be problematic to hit if the player in the tank knows how to work around it. Renegade is a good example of this. Huge cupola but skilled players move around make it harder to hit or bloking it with their gun

7:40 Not a real weakspot. It's been bugged since the first common test it was on, and is still not fixed. It shows a green pen marker to anything with 90mm or more, but you won't pen that until you have nearly triple that amount. It is weak if the gun is pointed upwards, however. We found it on day 1, and it's still not fixed.

Hello early gang You forgot to mention aomething about the super conq weak spot. You cant overmatch it with a 152 mm gun BUT a 60 TP can because it has a 152.4 mm gun (as you said a few years ago in some video) When you overmatch a tank on the engine deck there is a good chance you set them on fire and many times they wont expect to get penned so they might just sit there for another shot. You really just demonstrated a tier 7 tank weakspot with a 140 xD

Heres another funny way to bully facehugging JagpanzerE100, if they are aiming on your cupola on the top of the turret, u can Ricochet an shell from its gun mantlet to top of the engine deck, the mantlet basicly guides the shell to the engine deck, but only works if the JpE100 is aiming something on top of your turret. Killed couple of them by using that tactic

Only the bravest and the boldest would display their weak-spot as glaringly as Steve does Heathappens EU

Hi. The smv was penned with tier X obj 140 apcr, that has 264 mm of pen. If you try to pen with the smv cc 56 gold ammo (apcr) that have a 212mm pen, you won't pen the gun mantlet. It even looked like one shot from the obj 140 failed to pen. Please look into this further. Best regards

I remember playing my KV-1 years ago and this 1 VK30.01H on the enemy team kept on knocking its gun out by shooting the mantlet weakspot. Multi use repair kits would have made the game far less frustrating.

Been playing since the beta and still suck I’m great at fps shooters but I just cant get past being average at wot. I have took two long breaks from the game since i started playing. My biggest tip to anyone would be save all your money for Christmas loot boxes you get so much more for your money but only if you play a lot. The last one a got 150k gold 21 million credits, 120 days of premium plus all the tanks for the biggest loot box which is a little over $200. Just look how much it would cost to get 150k gold in the premium shop. I love when new tanks come out and it takes people awhile to know where to shot them.

I can't remember the armor thickness of all tanks. I use another method: I shoot, on penetration I shoot again, if not I fire at another part of the tank or look for another target.

Funny thing is despite knowing all the weak spots even by most "capable players" they still choose to spam gold at pretty much everything rendering weakspots pointless as you can now suddenly pen parts that weren't previously weak spots that could be penned, im not saying shooting gold is bad but the majority of so called "good players" just spam gold at everything rather than use it situationally (aka switching between rounds), unless your tank has really poor penetration, than i fully expect in bottom tier matches for there to be quite a lot of gold spamming depending on the tanks you have to fight, this guide is still useful of course but im just saying i see a lot of capable players relying mostly on higher penetration rounds to negate armor and having to aim for weak spots cause they would rather farm damage for WN8 or for marks than actually earn them from challenging themselves, just my opinion

It's a golden shower playing heavies or heavy TDs. It's insulting. These players just press 2, right-click, and then hold down left click. So either every gold shot goes in or it just makes a mess all over your face and bounce.

I knew about the SMV-s weakspot, but just couldn't pen it ,I hit it 4 times precisely with a SHellcat, and got fucked in the process. I thought it was an indicator bug. But that was RNG it seems... Do you use shampoo or just start to wash yourself with shower gel from 1 place and continue on all of your head?
