I've had the same teacher in chem for 3 yrs and im doing triple science.I really struggle to learn the way he teaches and have gone from a B to a D.You have helped so much and im doing better I even managed to get a B on my last test and a C before that.I just wanted to say thank you!
Everyone listen to this guyyy he actually saved my life for chemistry gcse i was predicated a D and was supposed to do foundation tier but i begged my teacher and i got entered for higher tier . eventually i got a B for chemistry. a whole me yunoe. Thanks Mr Thornton.
+Kadee Amee Wow, that's great work. It's tough to beat your predicted grade by a single grade, but to get two grades higher is a really amazing improvement that very few people manage to do. You should be really proud of yourself :)
I just want to say a massive thank you, as I don't usually understand chemistry and am currently revising for an exam tomorrow. If possible at some point can you do videos on all of C2 and C3
Thanks i got A [1 mark of a A*] in chemistry but this was before the 1/2 term i have a test biology test today hopefully i can get A* instead of a for this one. :)
+Sanjiv Vandana Somani I've added your request to my list, though I'm afraid I'm not going to get in finished before your exam as I have a fairly long lead-time on making videos, and not much free time :( Sorry, but it should be up before you do exams for real.
your videos have helped me alottttt thank you so much i really appriciate it but can you please make a video about matter and forces also density for gcse cuz i have a test on wed :(
+Msm Ram I'm not going to be able to sort out new videos for you before tomorrow unfortunately :( The good news is I do already have videos on forces in this playlist: ru-vid.com/group/PLhzZT1_v76sBwPTpHuq2secZbpWBYKft2 I've added matter and density to my to-do list so hopefully I'll have them finished before your real GCSEs.
Hi, i know this isn't about chemistry, but i saw your cell division video, but ive still got a question from my hwk which i dont understand. Suppose that one of the W bases shown in the diagram was substituted by an x base. What happens to the structure of the protein synthesised by this part of the dna molecule. A reply would be appreciated :)
+jg moore Without seeing the diagram you're talking about (it doesn't sound like the one from my video), it's a bit hard to be sure. I assume the change to the DNA will change the structure of the protein, but without more information I can't be any more specific I'm afraid.
+Jonathan Ng Yes. Since Sept 2015 I've been checking all exam specifications and making sure my videos cover them all. Actually, Edexcel's spec is pretty close to AQA so even the older videos are a good match for Edexcel.
Since September 2015 I've referred to all the different specifications when planning my videos. The science in earlier videos is of course common across different specifications, but some of the examples may be slightly different, especially since all of the specifications were updated at the end of August 2016. If in doubt, I recommend checking the course specifications, which for WJEC can be found here: www.wjec.co.uk/qualifications/science/gcse/
+arif abdul If you check my playlists (go to my main channel page here ru-vid.com and scroll down) you'll find topics separated out into the different sections of Science. For Double Award you need the Core and Additional playlists (assuming you're studying the AQA course).
