@@WS-dd8owbut what does that say about her? She should take him to task for flip flopping for Trump but no, it’s the power, the recognition, the possible run for president-that’s what is more important!🙄
For one no one against illegal immigration should okay the child tax credit until deportation has been successful. Walz also didn't generate this universal "free" lunch idea...it's been going on in the blue county I live in for the past two years. Basically, the Democrats got lazy and stopped pursuing to collect on deadbeat parents with high lunch debt. Parents that were basically welfare queens.
What’s wrong with that. That’s sounds great. He loves his wife even though she’s not white. I love my wife too and she’s not white. She’s native American. But I’m a racist trump supporter that married a Native American and has two Native American children.
@@YogaBlissDance if you don’t vote for Biden then you ain’t black. That sounds far worse than saying you love your wife even though she isn’t white. But who cares if dems say it because you get free handouts from them. Pretty much a slave to your own party so you get stuff your neighbors pay for
No! Not even close. She is being abused by a narcissist. They are so dang good at what they do, they can fool the smartest out there. Happens all the time.
@juanitasullivan3372 she's from an upper middle background. She's privileged and it doesn't surprise me she's willing to put aside morals and integrity for power. Being an immigrant doesn't equate to being for the marginalised. I'm from the UK and you just need to look at our politics to understand that.
They will be divorced in 2 years when he loses. Once they clown him for the next few months until the election she won’t look at him the same. Unless she is weak minded like ted Cruz’s wife then they will stay together
As an Indian, I am embarrassed by Usha and I can not fathom the energy she is wasting, hiding her shame and own embarrassment. Sad what money and power does to good people. Disgusting.
She's a Yale law grad. I went to a lesser, still elite, law school so I know this crowd. I have utterly no sympathy for her. She is very smart, a free agent. She has to take complete responsibility for herself. She has made a lot of choices that in my view are disturbing and immoral. She's going to suffer for it, and that's how life works.
She sold her high moral values for a life besides a man that sold his to serve Trump. Vance sold cowardly his values to a man he actually hated. I feel sorry for her and the fact she serves the VP of trump is bad very bad. She is in the boat and she should be ashamed!
It seems like those who do not like J.D.Vance cut her too much slack because she is an Indian. Before you call me a racist, my parents are both descended from immigrants. My father is Basque (France) and came here as an embryo, and my mum is from Spain (Catalan) but came here via Honduras. Her older sister joined the U.S. Navy after University and could bring my mum since she was her guardian.
@@ChrisHolbrook-yz6bp and who does she clerk for? Justice Roberts on the supreme Court. I guess we all keep are buddies close to us. He is the supreme Court head. He's another one who should be fired immediately, giving Trump immunity. What the hell else is this court going to do for him? Looking like she might lose the election again, the country better be planning for a big surprise, because Trump will never relinquish that he lost again. At this time he has a hell of a lot more on the line to lose, namely prison.
Because a person has university degree doesn't make them automatically smart. There are plenty of dumb people who studied, Ivanka Trump comes to mind. There are plenty of very smart people who have no university degree. She has a voice of a young girl.
She's not forced to defend. She's choosing to defend. I thought she'd be halfway to California by now with the kids and not looking back after that childless cat lady comment and mansplaying bro-on-a-couch Nelk podcast. 😂 I would.
"I know my husband said childless cat ladies don't care about this country. What he really meant is families have a harder time" LMAO! Really Do they think America is stupid?
Yeah, that's what I thought. Should Trump loose, there will be a time, when the Republicans loose any interest in Trump. He might go to prison and neither of them has a problem with this - as soon as he does not offer them sanytrhing more. Then the public mood will shift notably. Many Republicans will go on distance, more and more. They even might concede, that they fell for someone not worth it. Yet JD might never b able to excuse himself for having been misled by whatever. Because we allready all know, that he had seen through Trump and had despised him from minute 1. JD has always known who he is dealing with. Still, he decided to join the campaign. I do not think that JD could ever recover from his disgrace. Let's be clear: Trump does neither know nor understand HOW smple-minded and outright stupid he is. And nobody should scold him for this ignorance. Someone who can't understand, can't understand - especialy, if there are enough people to pat and praise him. How should he know better? - BUT JD? HE KNOWS. But he does support Trump nontheless. Certainly not for reasons taking into account the interests of the American people. Rarely ever has somebody exposed himself so obviously.

Why is it that OTHER PEOPLE are always explaining what MAGA LEADERS ARE SAYING. "What he really meant was......................." "It's classic trumpism............."
If I had a penny for every time a MAGA tried defending horrific statements with the 'context' thing, I would have a considerable collection of pennies.
Ohhh man I'd love to have all those pennies bc then maybe I wouldn't be living in this lower middle class hell I'm in where I get upset that a bag of chips is 6 dollars

Usha could have remained silent and still warranted some amount of sympathy. Now that she is defending his positions, she is complicit. She is a smart woman and knows what she is doing. She is supporting MAGA and all that goes along with it. She is going to have to explain her support to her parents and to her kids. Plato said "The price good men pay for indifference to public affairs is to be ruled by evil men." She should be ashamed of herself.
Usha Vance's behavior suggests she is in a relationship with someone who is suffering from a Narcissistic Personality Style. She is slowly losing herself. But right now she has been made to believe she is being a good and supportive spouse. It's hard to get out of these toxic relationships especially when there are children involved. I hope she finds the strength to save herself and her children.

Sad to see these smart Indian women sacrificing their careers just to be what, a footnote in a slow motion fascist coup? But I know another Indian woman who can help us all.
I can agree with JD Vance on one thing he said about Trump in 2016: "He's just a bad man. A morally reprehensible human being." True then, still true today.
Lost all credibility to you and blue maga. Those of us who are intelligent, empathic, and sympathetic (including Pakman) recognize: First, that we don't know the whole situation; secondly, what else is she supposed to do or say, other than divorce her husband over politics? Like you have any credibility, yourself.
@@ncwordman Your possibilities are really limited. One possibility is that she could use her role as wife to help guide her husband into what is actually beneficial for children. She could tell him that cat ladies actually don't want to see their fur balls go up in smoke or wash away in a flood, and that hubby has some things to learn from cat ladies. But that would go against the whole man is god and woman is a rib thing, wouldn't it? Sounds like she's chosen to be a rib for now, but I certainly don't want to lock her in to selling her soul, even if that's the most likely eventuality.
We have a saying in Spanish: Al son de la plata baila el perro. The literal translation is: The dog dances to the tune of silver. As much as I love dogs, one thing we can agree us that dogs can easily turn away from its owner if someone offers it a better bone. The tune of silver refers to the sound coins make when you rattle them in your hand or pocket. We say this to people that have no conviction. The Vances are dancing their heart out for sure.
@@ncwordmanShe is complicit. If she disagreed, she’d speak up and say something. She tweeted about VP Harris being a DEI hire and is now trying to justify what her husband said. That’s right in line with the definition of complicit, which is “involved with others in an illegal activity or wrongdoing.” This will not end well for him or her. Her reputation has been tarnished and will be hard to repair with reputable people and organizations.
@@bwilli301 Your logic is flimsy. You're only confirming your own bias. Otherwise you'd admit you don't know; that there isn't enough evidence to conclude anything. The VPOTUS gets a big salary and lives at a spacious house at the Naval Observatory, and had access to loads of free travel, not to mention being the VPOTUS. Not much of a sacrifice, considering what some people have to stoop to in order make a buck.
I don't think this will work.... Shady Vance wants our young girls to deliver a baby, yet slams Tim Walz for giving free breakfast and lunch to every student in Minnesota... hmmm, choice is easy.
I’m a fiscal moderate with no kids or cats for that matter. I have absolutely no problem with my tax dollars paying for free lunches. Even families with means have a lot on their plate ( pun intended). If parents can worry about one less thing that’s great. I often hear “ why should I pay for lazy parents!” My response is “ well most of them aren’t lazy and work very hard. However let’s just say that some are lazy. Does that mean we should blame their kids for that?” I’ve also heard the “ great idea” that the kids could “work off” the lunch debt by being custodians 🤦.
@@judyodonoghue7715 No, it really doesn't. And honestly, the Vice President of the United States earns a salary of $284,600 per year. Not nearly enough to sell your soul painlessly. She said carefully phrased nothing burgers so they didn't sound like word salad. Of course she still hates Trump and of course she told JD to do it because being the VP candidate adds to his career. And with Trump being as old as he is, and with his weight and bad diet, he is very close to being President if Trump, Heaven forbid, wins!!!
Yes they do as do. They also don't get the marriage deduction, child deduction, and in some cases single parent (men or women) child deductions. They get punished by paying higher taxes.
I don’t feel sorry for this woman. She chose to go to the maga side which means deep down she’s just not a good person. We can’t even give her the benefit of the doubt of being stupid, she’s highly educated and is fully aware of what and who she’s supporting and is doing it anyway.
It's hilarious that she thinks there is a "context" that doesn't paint her husband as a dumpster fire and an embarrassment to her family and our country.
