Still watching this combo 7 years later. Was the first Bankhead choreography I had seen. Still one of the best. I was obsessed with Didi after this video. Straiiiiigghhhhtttt 🔥🔥🔥🔥
The first dance number I've seen that's done this song justice. Honestly I'm normally not feeling the routines that come out of this studio, but y'all killed it!
Love how sean just followed her lead!! I think a video or a live stream or something of them two just vibing out throwing ideas back and forth is much needed
Yup….I can’t believe that was her the whole time at Coachella with bey😍. I remember watching this when it was first posted. Crazy how she got to dance with bey yearssss later
Soon as I saw Sean Bankhead in the title I got hype.... I knew it was gon be slam... Sean looks amazing with facial hair... Awwww ... I 💜 it... So grown up now... Wow....
And about this video...that chic can dance her buns off. My next degree will be learning to dance "sexy" just like that. My new mission in life...LOL!!!! I'm inspired! ROFL!!!!
LOVE IT!! What I really appreciate about this video is that towards the end, there was freestyle! Good choreo w/ REAL raw talent and not duplicated! This song is HOT! The beat, the official video and lyrics! Usher is talented! P.S. Where is this dance studio located? And she can dance!
I don't know their names but homegirl w/ the blonde hair is my kind of dancer. She doesn't have to give "extra movement" for her dance to come off strong, clean and with attitude. I WILL be trying this during my visit to the dance studio here in NY.
OK, so how many times can I "like" this song! OMG!!!!! OMG!!! I go absolute ape s#@t when this song comes on. OMG!!!! I LOVE THIS SONG! This is my 2014 Summer Jam you hear me?
Can't say I enjoyed this one. I think the moves were executed a bit too aggressively, considering how chill the song is. Either that, or there was just too much movement going on overall. Not exactly sure how to articulate it. Inspiration from your choreo to "Lemme See It" probably would've been better off for this song in my opinion.
I agree. I like Diddi's energy (lack of energy) because it felt right for the song, but a lot of the other dancers seemed too aggressive with their moves.
I have to respectfully disagree. I think the moves worked rather well with the beat itself. But I do agree that Diddi's "laziness" with the dance moves made it seem like she felt the beat alot more.
CuzIt'sSteph Williams Right on. I just again, feel a different approach would have worked better. Less moves, just as much strength/energy/cleanliness, but with bigger movement and more flow... allowing the more intricate movements to play as accents to the entire choreo, as opposed to it filling the dance completely. For example (even though it's dated, it still works), the choreography to Janet Jackson's "If" or to her VMA performance - with more umph added to it to... making it more modern. Hope I'm making sense.
CuzIt'sSteph Williams Matter of fact, if you have the time, go check out Tricia Miranda's choreo submission for Jasmine V's "That's Me Right There." It plays as a decent example. Plus, the forming is pretty good.
