Per Cipha Sounds: Freak A Leak was the original for Yeah. Mixtape DJs and Radio jockeys got a hold of Petey Pablo Freak A Leak and started playing it. Lil Jon and Ursher had to go back into the studio and make a new beat. Muted the melodies and kept the drums. Used same sounds and created a new melody giving us what we now know at the Yeah beat.
