Loved the last 3 minutes trying to emulate Cuiv's thumbnail

Amazing to do in the summer heat and without a cooled camera.

I fr thought it was Cuiv’s video from the thumbnail until I clicked on it and later was like wtf. I think mission accomplished. 😂 Also, nice try on DSO using the planetary camera. Impressive for its price. I’d personally go with a T3i though, if I was financially constrained.

Years ago I shot the ring nebula with an original DSCI from Orion which has a much smaller sensor than the qhy. This newer tech is amazing

Excellent, now lets wait for the lazy geek’s revenge. Both videos are awesome. Since you state you have similar conditions to Tokyo, it could be fun to do a collab shooting same targets, Stella vs The Lazyness

Great Video! I actually use a ZWO asi 224mc for (Planetary and Shooting DSOs). For DSOs, my Mount doesn't have a very good Tracking, So Basically I take like 1 to 3 second subs exposure, with relatively low gain! It gives me a Very low noise image after stacking and Processing. These small Cameras are actually Good for DSOs, If your someone on a budget, Better Not compare this to a DSLR, since The Small FOV allows you to use it for Planetary and Shoot galaxies!

amazing image with such a cheap camera and in that heat! On another subject, I totally understand how much you struggle in the Las Vegas heat, being a guy who grew up close to me in western Europe where we don't regularly have such intense heat! Also you're fair haired/skinned like me, and we don't tend to deal well with hot weather! LOL Thanks as always for a great vid you guys! Wes, Liverpool UK

I understand that using the ZWO ASIAIR locks me into all things ZWO. A downside of an otherwise brilliant design that makes this hobby accessible on a sophisticated level to budding intermediate astrophotographers. So this camera isn't usable for me. Any suggestions on a ZWO camera at a similar price point that affords similar performance? I use a 533MC Pro on my main Image train. I'm looking for an inexpensive alternative to my astromoded DSLR for a lens based system I can try with different lenses.
