Having watched a number of tutorials for bow makers now, I can say that this one was actually the most useful one I found. Although none of the videos I watched actually shoed me the exact bow I wanted to make this one gave me the knowledge I actually need to create them. Also, it's simple, it's not overly long, and you don't have an irritating voice!
I have watched so many tutorials to make bows. Had such a hard time!!! This is the first one that was nice and slow and showed how to do it close up. Just fabulous. Thank you sooo much.
I just got a bow maker from my friend Debra and I love it. She showed me the directions on how to make the ribbon, however I am dyslexic so I needed directions when I returned home with my bow maker. Thank you for the directions.

I am so glad I found your video. I have watched a few videos about the 10 second bow maker but could never get the full hang of it. I even watched the ladies video who invented the 10 second bow maker thank you so much!

Great tutorial...I'm a lefty and I was able to follow your instructions with no problem. it's nice to hear a relaxed and friendly voice...not screeching. I hope you do more videos.

As a handyman/bowmaker, I noticed that the block slides on the table a lot. Place some rubber underneath and it will make it stay in one place for you. im now off to the shed to make a 'bow maker'.
you can buy these on e.bay with larger pegs if you prefer something with longer pegs,Or if you have some MDF and dowels they are even easy to make yourself Just a few holes drilled into a piece of wood or MDF using a drill bit the same size as the dowelling ....I made mine using one very long but cheap piece of dowelling and my husband drilled the holes along the piece of wood for the dowelling pegs to sit sit in.. Making your own means you will have plenty of spare pegs in that one piece of dowelling should any break.
Genius, thank you. I loved making my own gadget too! Much simpler than using a fork and I could see what happened to the loose end. Now I’ve just got to work out how to use one way up ribbon with words printed on.
Pauline, next time, don't just go around the pegs, use a figure 8, and you can make 2, 3 & 4 loop bows and they stay perfect. I use the AARON'S BOW MAKER, there is a tutorial for it on U tube. they are at the Esty store.
Oh thank god...I’m left and your the only person that makes sense even though it is for right handed .so I guess I’m multi dexterous...lol anyway it works
