You can do this with remote support software too by joining your own remote session. Essentially remoting into your own computer, creating an infinite amount of screens and move the mouse in all the screens at once
@@H8RSAPPRECIATE You need to do that with regular security cameras unless they are wired but you can also just choose to run a wire to the phone to avoid needing to charge it.
@@HW_Printing true but I feel like the battery would go dead quicker than a regular security camera if it’s charged 24/7 unless you manually unplug then plug it back and out
@@H8RSAPPRECIATE Oh for sure, the phone would not last nearly as long as the security camera in terms of battery life even if it was at full battery health. The best idea would be to run ethernet cable to the phone's battery connector, take out the battery and pass power through the ethernet cable. If you do it this way then if you do decide that you want to upgrade to a proper system you can do so without needing to redo the wiring inside the walls.
@@jaivanttitus right but they’re on the phone. It miss the purpose if you’re not looking at the monitor when your phone already has a face camera and you can do both things there.
Yeah I used to use that too but it wasn't as high quality and lower FPS. It had cool features but I just didn't want to have to pay for higher quality video
Mac doesn’t require a cable if you have an iPhone in iOS 16 + And the Mac OS venture + you can use ultra cam on iPhone as desk view you should definitely try this ❤
@@vynrex you know on USB C cable, there's 2 sides the same, if you pluged in the phone to another phone using charger you could go to settings option, and the take other phones battery power to your phone. Now you can only give out the battery life, it does not work both ways
Droid cam sucks tbh, I really hope this comes to Samsung. But for the meanwhile you can get a usb c to hdmi, then use a capture card with that with s23 ultra because it outputs clean hdmi out from the camera app.
@@samihanpargaonkar4477 not rly I use Iriun Webcam, and if you use a cable there is no lag, you can use it at 1080p or higher (but depending on the capabilities of your phone it might add latency) at 60 fps
Android is the best for its customizability and its features and the fact that it’s open source helps because no need to hack your device to do it, so it’s basically just like a mini pc, plus we have Nintendo switch emulation… think about that 😀😀
This had nothing to do with iPhone. You people on both sides(android and apple) who feel the need to defend why you think your phone is better than the other side every chance you get are weird. Just use the phone you want and let others do the same.
*This is something that Apple does very well with iPhone and Macs ecosystem.* I use both Android and iOS, windows and macOS, and I’m neutral over the tech area. So it’s not another Apple head talking. Just a guy that enjoys multiple OSs and ASs.
So he was filming a phone with another phone while that first phone was filming him while he was also scrolling through apps while his 2nd phone was also filming him filming his first phone in which he could see himself filming the first phone while the first phone was filming him. Man idek I've been her for 3 days give me a break 😂
I really like the pixel OS. One day when their chip reaches its potential and their battery lasts long than 10 min I could see myself using the pixel as my daily.
LMAO I'm using my pixel 6 pro for two days without charging since I got it 😅, whatchu doing with that phone that the battery lasts 10 min, gaming or sumthing?
I've actually been impressed with my Pixel 6. I've had it for almost 2 years and it still has a really strong battery life. Unlike my previous pixel (3a) which was horrendous
Just replace the damaged battery you have.. with android 14 my pixel increase its battery life by an hour which was previously 8 hours of heavy use( screen on)
I wonder about the privacy side of this, imagine plugging your phone to charge and suddently that "original" power bank you bought is currently sending a live camera feed to someone else
Well android “DROIDS aka android users” you guys need to use a usb-c cable just to use you phone as a webcam 😂. But we ios users have CONTINUITY CAMERA. 😎….
I've tried to make my phone as a webcam to save money. The only way is to download Iriun, IVCam or Droidcam. Hope they make it native tbh. I don't want to pay almost RM 99.90 just to use a webcam without watermark...
Don't act so surprised parker, droidcam can do it wayback in 2012 wirelessly. It's basic android program. Don't act more surprised when you found out android can be a pc monitor, mouse, keyboard, speaker, mic, controller etc.
ok? heres the thing. dude its not new tech its been around like droidcam. 2nd its not convenient and practical because having ur phone as webcam for hours or even just 30mins it could heat up. constant usage of battery while charging affects battery life. and battery life decreases if heat is unbalanced. so droidcam is still a better choice because it can run over ur wifi connection rather than having to strangled up with cables and stuff.
All you people in the comments saying apple did it first, bro we had droidcam in 2010, shut up with your lies bro yall iPhone users just are so late to everything
yeah i sometimes use scrcpy but i have to use obs with virtual camera taking a croped section of the camera app thats a mess and i cant record desktop with obs when doing that and also i cant use my phone thats just perfect, something that i specifically wanted, lets hope it gets merged on the global stream of android and other phones start having it
I got so confused trying to understand how your recording all of this, before i realised you uave 2 phones, 1 records one who records the other and 1 who records the other who records that Very confusing dont you all agree?
No this guy is wrong. Android can already do it like since 2012 using 3rd party. This guy didn't know syit about this and really surprised when pixel can do it. The only difference is pixel added it as system app.
Android might just implement it as native systems on pixel 8 but the beauty of android is you can do whatever you want as long as it's not hardware limitations. There's plenty features you can't never think of its already on Android.
