The SP3000 can be automated with an 120 auto carrier. But that’s actually rare. Unlike the HS-1800 which is still pretty common.

I've got a tip for you! 🙂 It's much easier to attach the tape with the guillotine in the down position! You put the film canister into the holder, then cut the end of the film with the guillotine, then place the leader card onto the jig so it goes under the end of the cut film so it just overlaps the film by about 5mm, now attach the tape, then remove from the jig and tape the other side. I think you will find this much easier.

OMG! You never just hang the film taped on the leader without holding your hand underneath, the film can just roll out.

I’m curious, if the photo is laser printed onto paper, why does the paper need to be chemically developed? Wouldn’t it be just like printing it onto photo paper from a laser or inkjet printer at home?
