Some I saw had a 3/4 inch slit cut in cage to lift up and set queen cage entrance in front of the 'door' ...then flip the door flap down and press into comb.

Wait a moment. She was mated? And then yoh close her in right? I did not understand your procedure.

@AndreLeandro139 take a mated queen, put her in the cage over emerging brood. Those bees will accept her and she can start laying without being harassed by the colony. Once she's laying, she will be accepted by the colony unless she's just a bad queen.
