Redstone links do work, but you have to set the two slots outside the airship and grab the configured redstone link with Ctrl + Middle Click because you can't set those inside the ship. So basically you go to a block outside the airship, place a redstone link, set the two slots, Ctrl + Middle Click on the redstone link to grab it with NBTs, go to your airship and place the link, you can change the link to receive signal mode with the wrench as usual

Maybe you can have a hatch at the bottom that opens up the bombing compartment just like real bombers

from what I remember, this ship/airship mod has been through a trip. it was first 1.7.10 as "Archimedes Ships", and then was remade for 1.12.2 as "Davinci's Vessels". I can assume this "Eureka" is a spiritual successor, because it has items and mechanics straight from the original mod, such as the air balloons, ship helm, and the assemble function. it's nice to see that this mod lives on, even with its many name changes

This mod would be brilliant on a modded server. imagine building a secret bomber plane inside a mountain and having like 10 of them bomb an enemy settlement

ok hear me out: a create/eureka multiplayer war server. Maybe even add some guns/tnt mods and just go for an all-out war. Since TNT destroys the ships, that would be so interesting! Edit: ok one thing I forgot to mention: I COULD SET SUCH A SERVER UP!

hey! this mod adds a stick to the game that if you right click on a block it gets shipified, and it becomes a physics object. i dont know if you can find it in creative inventory or whether you need to get it via commands, but its there and its epic. also, you are correct about the dimension thing.

I remember the old Artemis ships or whatever it was called in 1.7... you couldn't build until you park your ship, how things have advanced...

it would be amazing if there was a block that could dispense ignited tnt, and if that block had been in vanilla minecraft for years, being used for tnt cannons practically since it's introduction. if only such a marvelous block existed

also, you could try just using basic Redstone tnt cannons, and use create to open hatches that let the cannons fire

Very good video, although you could try a bigger airship with redstone door that can be opened and closed below the tnt hole, to make it look better/safer vs enemies who want to shoot into it :D

A 12v12v12 between you, @theomonty and @Cactus each with 11 of your Fans and Subscribers to Build a Ship that can Act as a Base. As for my comment about Building Sherman Medium Tanks and M3 Half-Tracks, The British Army Uniforms are as Follows: • Helmets: Brown and Lime Green Dyes • Chestplate and Leggings: Brown and Yellow Dyes • Boots: Black and Dark Grey The Officer's Cap is the same as the Chesplate and Leggings. These will be the Leather Armor Set to get the Proper colors. To get the Tank Crew Uniforms, The Berets are Black and the Chestplate and Leggings will be probably Orange and White (I'll have to Double Check that) and the Boots are still Black and Dark Grey. If you want to build an Airplane for Air Support, I have 2 Recommendations for you: 1). The Bristol Beaufighter TF Mk. X (TF meaning Torpedo Fighter): This has 4 Hispano 20 millimeter Cannons and 6 .303 Caliber Machine Guns (4 in the Right wing, 2 in the Left because of the Shape of the Fuel Tanks) and another .303 Caliber Machine Gun for the Observer. It can also Carry 8 RP-3 60lb Rockets and Either 2 250lb Bombs, 1 British 18 inch or an American Mark 13 Torpedo. 2). The Douglas A-20G Havoc Light/Medium Bomber: This Design went several Changes over the Course of World War Two. Initially Built with 2 .50 Caliber Machine Guns and 4 20 millimeter cannons in the Nose After the First 250 Aircraft, The 30 millimeter cannons were Replaced with More .50 Caliber Machine Guns. After 750 Aircraft were Built, A Power Driven Dorsal Turret with 2 .50 Caliber Machine Guns was added, along with the Fuselage being 6 inches wider, and the Ventral Gunner Position Changing from a .30 Caliber Machine Gun to a .50 Caliber Machine Gun. Create big cannons does actually work with the mod!! I went and tried after your last video-you just have to grab versions of all the mods from like august last year for them to register as compatible

You should make a villan base with a place to fly this ship down into also you could add traps and such in it

imagine having a crew on this airship, and the captain just says "pull the lever cronk!" and the airship turns into a bomber airship

There's a mod called "old guns" that adds cannons. They're super tedious to load, but they have explosive shells, and I've tested, and Valkyrien Skies is compatible with Old Guns.

Hey Big canon and Eureka dos work together you just have to do it the right way :) First you build your ship. Then you assemble the ship. Then last you build the canon and then it Works!!!!

i hope the create Aeronautics will also allow you to modify your ship while its assembled it would be great if Create devs also made this for trains

create aeronautics is coming out soon, and they already have an open beta u should mess around with that.(also you can have moving trains on a moving airship and its compatible w big cannons)

this could make an interesting sky block quest that's similar to the RAFT game. i thought of this because a comment said their laptop couldn't handle this mod and ive found sky block challenges are less taxing on GPU & CPU's. maybe discovering floating islands with maybe sky fishing or floating treasure to collect. maybe starting on a one block airship. but with the danger of sinking into the void if you don't balance weight against ballon blocks correctly etc. I'd be up for that kind of quest

Neat mod, I'd love to see how this behaves with the Immersive Portals mod, if it does at all

not sure if it works, but I recommend to use minecart TNT, they can explode on impact and can be grouped to explode more area, my idea is that you put a bunch of TNT minecart in a electrified rail, and when you pull a lever, the electricfied rail will push the minecart out of the airship

You actually can use cannon with VS but it's just that big cannon can't use the most recent version of Flywheel so if you downdate flywheel and Create you can get them to run at the same time

idea: make a ship thats rigged to blow once the helm is gone, then break the helm and watch it fall and blow up

after testing I was able to get create big cannons working on the airship, so idk if you did something wrong but it works for me.

A way to make the tnt opening less ugly is to have it on hinges that open and close, so when you're not dropping TNT it looks normal.

easy fix to your igniting problem would've been to just use redstone blocks on areas where the tnt should go lol.

He could use a dispenser with tnt. It automatically activates and drops tnt when activated and easier to setup.

I think there's a command to spawn villages, it's something like /place and works similar to the /locate

If I understand Minecraft mechanic right, the bed shouldn't work after the ship move from the original position you claim the bed in. So basically, you put down bed, claim it, you die and you respawn on ship. That's fine. But if you put down bed, claim it, move the ship and die, chances are you might not be able to respawn on the bed and back to first spawn.

Shalz. i found if you make a boat and make it back heavy by putting like a few netherite blocks untill its kinda sinking put a ship engine (forgot the actual name) and start driving you would have made an airship. by my wording i hope you understand what i mean edit: i found if the entire back is netherite and the front is fully floaters put 3 engines and go backwarrds you can reach the clouds. highest ive gone was 50 blocks over

You should use the Create fans to blow the TNT down faster so you don't have to get so close to the ground.
