Hi Keely, like the text area it was an other field setup for data merge. When I manually setup the data for the "bulk create" using the tables entry in Canva - I set one column for "number" and added 1 - 5 for each number. Then I linked both the number and text area individually to each column using the "connect data" command from the drop down menu. Check out the 7:00 min mark in the video for when I setup the Data for the Data Merge and then at about 8:30 when I connected the "number" on the template to the "number" data column. Hope that helps.
