The Medium distortion definitely sounded the best to me. Cool trick. I'll have to give this a try.

Highs were muffled on medium. I preferred both of the others: the subtle weight on soft, and nice saturation on hard.

The loop lacks much needed swing and sounds off.

i wouldnt recommend using dolby for this... the compander messes with saturation
