I attended Charles A. Tosch 2424 Larchmont constructed in 1966 and extended on the Rustown end in 1968. Our principal was Jay Thompson. He drove an old 1937 Chevy. Our assistant principal, Sam Christy, always walked with a limp, it must have been an old war injury. My 1st grade teacher was Miss Camelia Moon in room 2 in 1968. She sat out in her car crying on the last day of school. She had contracted leukemia and could no longer teach. MISD had their own TV channel and all of the classrooms at Tosch had a TV. David S.
Thank you for sharing all you wonderful teachers and students! I would love to know the first chants and the song with the first teacher....I just can’t make it out!! Any chance you could write it down for me? Thanks again!!!
Miss Roberson, I'm a teacher in Canada and love the adapted song for I've got this feeling. I can figure out the words for the verse but am having trouble with the chorus. Would you please tell me what they are? Thanks
To set a disco its hilarious and wild think..what are you doing with your culture, guys. Come to Russia, we have normal normality there and normal values. Here to go to night clubs is not a high culture and of course not for kids at school. Come, you will get russian ballet, Dostoevsky and the best theater ever.
