Hello sir, I am an international student, I am not able to take Digital SAT due to some health issues. Could i take it on 26th AUGUST which is an anticipated test,as on 3rd June it's the last one. I am very confused. Would you please assist me ?

Sorry to hear about your health issues. All I know about the upcoming test dates is what they've posted here: satsuite.collegeboard.org/digital/international-testing/dates-deadlines I would imagine that the "anticipated" test dates will be confirmed fairly soon. They usually do a test date in late August and then one apiece in October, November, and December (generally the first Saturday of the month for those three months). So even if you aren't able to take it in May or June, you would have at least a couple of opportunities to take it before the next round of college application deadlines.

For the first question, why does choice c and d doesn't work despite it doesn't give us a "pause." As a second language speaker I can't really get when should I have this "pause" and when should I not. For me, adding while in front of a independent clause make it dependent, so it becomes IC, DC. I am a bit confused:\

This is a good question. I actually addressed it in this video, which was made in response to a similar question from another student. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-g6dhvQ3-jvg.html Let me know if this makes sense... Thank you for your comment.

Can you teach difference between semicolon and comma too. Thank you.
@babakranj

Semicolon is same as period = comes between two independent clauses Comma = comes between 1 independent and 1 dependent clause. ( However when it is combined with FANBOYS it acts as a period for example: comma+ and = period).

That's a pretty good summary. If there are any specific tests questions anyone would like me to go over, let me know and I can put together a video.

Here are a couple of videos that deal with the semicolon (and how it differs from the comma): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Rs-AhGBlLWM.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-59M8DKzqxSk.html

can some one explain this question to me Some detractors object to wind farms on aesthetic grounds, finding the large turbines ugly. A more legitimate concern pertains to personal_____ a relationship between wind turbine noise and adverse health effects caused by annoyance and sleep deprivation in up to 20 percent of residents living close to wind farms. Which choice completes the text so that it conforms to the conventions of Standard English? A) health, some studies show B) health; some studies showing C) health: some studies do show D) health, and some studies that show its from sat crash course

Is the correct answer C? I think the first sentence (A more....health) makes a claim and the following sentence explains that claim.

no man you cant have an dependent clause on the right side of the colon......
@345tutoring
@345tutoring Год назад
I know what you're saying. You can have something that is not an independent clause (i.e., a phrase), but not just a single dependent clause. (You could have a dependent clause followed by an independent clause, but that's pretty unusual.)
