Ted Wu that’s a good question. You can use the e-gift card card number to pay over the phone or online. But if you want to pay in person at the parks, restaurant or merch locations, you will have to transfer your ecard balance to the Disneygiftcard.com account and combine it with a tangible card. The target gift cards, are the still 5% on every $100? Were thinking of maybe getting a $1000 gift card on arrival day, and paying our room bill/magic band charges with this. Also, can you use these at the Epcot food booths? Thanks👍🏴
It’s 5%off of every denomination of gift card. Get the gift cards before your trip if you can. It’s one less thing to take you away from the parks. Yes, u can use these to pay for room charges, meals, and Epcot food booths! Here’s an extra tip: when you purchase the gift cards at Target, split purchases up so you buy $500s worth of gift cards at a time. It crashes their system to purchase $1000 in one purchase.
@@ItsaGreatDisneyDay thank you. I don’t know how this works in the UK, but I read you need a Target “red card” to purchase them? We would be going to target on arrival day for supplies anyway. My wife loves American supermarkets. I suggested getting a delivery but she suggested that we are going shopping!😂
@@woooooooo9061 the Target red card is sort of like a debit card from your bank. You should look online and see if you can apply for the card ahead of time. It will be mailed to you.
Jeff Van Buskirk Since late May, Disney has added an option in the My Disney Experience app for you to input guest card information. So the answer is YES! And I’m soooo glad!! It allows a way to save extra money on food purchases, if you buy discounted gift cards! Hope this helps on your next trip!
That sounds great! I just went looking for this and can't find it. Do you know where in the app I add that card info? I went to MY PROFILE, then PAYMENT METHOD, then EDIT PAYMENT METHOD. Where I can replace my credit card on file but Disney Gift Cards are not an available option?
