In this video I am using 2 craft kits that I have been storing for a little while now. I filmed this video around March/April time but since being pregnant I was suffering pretty bad with morning sickness and tiredness so I was having to conserve all my energy to remain at work since I work full time. My sickness and tiredness has now passed (thankfully) and I am now getting round to editing footage I filmed back along so bare with me! :)
I bought the bookmark resin kit from The Works for only £7 and they still sell these now! I have included the link below in case anyone wanted to pick this up. Despite mine turning out quite ugly, it was a good craft to do, and a good introduction into resin. There was enough resin that I could have made a 2nd one if I had really wanted to, I just knew I wasn't really going to use the bookmarks if I made more. I think this kit is very budget friendly and was a fun activity to do, I just didn't love how mine turned out.

The resin coaster kit I bought from The Range and I can see that they no longer sell this kit. They do however have a few other coaster kits on their website which I have linked below as they actually look pretty cool. They had a dried flowed coaster kit, and autumnal coaster kit and a halloween coaster kit. I love how they seem to sell seasonal kits and try keeping up with trends, whereas the bookmark kit for me was a little dated in the colour choices.

I had fun making these kits, and I would use epoxy resin again for sure. I had so many coloured powders left over from my coaster kit and I now have the moulds and the silicone cups so I can always try out using some of these powders to make coasters using UV resin, or buy some more epoxy resin.
Let me know what your thoughts of these kits are and if you have ever tried any resin craft kits, please let me know what you made!
Thank you for watching :)
