Fynn the purple guy when you put space on the tv he loved it when he was kid so he grew up to be a astronaut and he keeped the carrot till he was older and gave it to you NO TIME TRAVEL he just grew up :)

The reason why you can give the kid on floor 4 the carrot and go to floor 3 and get it back rotten is because the kid becomes the astronaut when he grows up

Fynn, it is the past you are going into, kinda like a memory, that is why what he watches that is what he wants to be when he is older, so when he watches the fishing he wants to become a fisherman when he is older, that room is the past or a memory that is why it is all weird around him.
