Using Flyout to Design a GIANT Nuclear Capable Fighter Bomber

As an avid M82 fan and not very good reader, I kept wondering when this thing was gonna get nuclear engines.

This really reminds me of the obscure A-5 Vigilante nuclear carrier bomber. It’s my favorite plane, and I love it so much because even though it is technically a bomber, it likely became the base design for iconic fighter planes such as MiG-25/31, F-15, and many more

The versatility of an F/A-18, the speed and air dominance of an F-15, the nuclear deterrence of a Mirage 2000N, and unparalleled max range. AND it's swing wing! Killer plane.

A variable-sweep wing fighter-bomber? Damn, that thing is a supersized Panavia Tornado!

Very cool, looks like a cross between an F-14 and an F-111

Its like f-18 front then f-14 or mig 23 wings with a f-111 fuselage and a f-15 rear. Its perfection.

Maaaan, it took me way longer to realize this was an alternate-universe 60's fighter bomber than I should like to admit, especially knowing that's how all your builds fit into history. (I think...)

You should make a heavy fighter/night bomber similar to Bf 110 or the baufighter

Interesting, I'll have to watch what happens to this game. Have you considered doing a homage to the Ling-Temco-Vought XC-142 tilt-wing? It was intended for carrier onboard delivery and tactical transport. A modern re-interpretation might be able to get rid of the rear prop/rotor.

looks like the f-111 if the 60's era Soviets designed it, about the same size, not much different except twin verticals. probably could do with a lifting body to help it with payload carry weight.

I LOVE heavy fighters! Something about heavy fighters just flicks a switch in my brain. I haven’t watched the vid yet I just wanted to get this out of me, but it will probably be an excellent video! Edit: to put this fighters size into perspective, its wing span is more than twice as long as an average two story house is tall (25 feet).

When a F-14 Tomcat and A-5 Vigilante love each other very much you get a FB-04 Halberd

I wanna see the most outlandish fighter aircraft you can possibly make - stealth, relaxed stability, insane maneuverability similar to your unlimited dogfighter (let's just say the pilot is suspended in and is breathing a PFC) and the highest top speed possible (modern day variable sweep wing?). I'm curious as to how hard flyout forces you to compromise or whether it just allows that kind of thing, and although I'm already testing the game, my building skills are nowhere near good enough.

Fun engaging video idea: a Cold War inspired aircraft meant for ultra superiority. Your design but it is made to be better at air to air then anything in it’s time of 1954-1967 (specific times Ik)

Hey M82 your probably not gonna see this but another idea for a build could be a fighter AWAX that’s meant to be like a arsenal plane, like a B52 with a AWAX system for SEED missions

I like this plane, but I got a feeling this would be a very pricey air frame. But thats the price you pay for such a capable aircraft. Maintenance is probably hell as well. Though it's basically an Ace Combat super plane with a realistic weapon set.
