Young Nails you rock... American nail techs are so fortunate to have such people being honest and very educational to help you. IMPO stop bad mouthing people. It's tough as it is all over the world. Thank you Young Nails. From South Africa 🇿🇦💅😍
Young Nails nail tips are obviously made of a good plastic in order to use it like a dual form. If you purchase other nail tips from another company there is no guarantee you will be able to remove the nail tip. Food for thought
You have to put your nails under lamp, just to dry on surface, maybe less then 30s. Then try to take it off, it's easy, believe me, with almost all kind of full cover tips.
We should all know that we watch these channels so that we could enjoy, learn and know that everyone has different methods to simplify. We just need to understand this and learn to accept and just stop being harsh and using foul language. All of this takes away the enjoyment of watching and learning. Lets make this a better community.
Thank you so much for this. I've tried dual forms and can't quite get the shape but this works so well and I've been able to get a beautiful stiletto shape.
Such a great idea! I honestly wish I'd known about this when I started working with gel a few years ago. But on the flipside I did learn how to sculpt a nail with gel well because that was my only option. However such a great technique for beginners or when you just need to whip out a quick set!!!
Ok I think I can become a pro now, if only you could see the smile on my face. I have been doing them all wrong 😂😂😂 I have been pressing them down and putting acrylic on top and in the meantime losing my shape😂😂😂 I'm a visual person if I see you do it BAM. Thank you for the video💐 #lifesaver
I agree with your comment, I was pressing the polygel down so hard to get air bubbles out and then gel popping out onto side walls and what a mess. You see every nail Chanel tells you different things to do like one said press down hard to release bubbles and when did it, it didn’t work for me . I like the way Tracy did her nails and she is so clear in explaining it. I don’t have their brand of polygel as I have IBD sculpting or building gel works good too as other brands as long you can afford products. Just saying Thanks for posting,
This video is GREAT! THANK U SO MUCH!!!!! I have trouble keeping uniformity of shape when I’m sculpting on myself; I can’t wait to try this! Thank you again!
Thanks for great video! For those of you saying this is another’s accounts idea while this technique may look similar I see people posting that YN did something similar 3 years ago. It’s hard to give original credit to any technique as they morph and build over time. For context I have been a hair colour specialist for 32 years. While I am a much different pro now all the basics I learned still are my foundation. If your good at what you do, you keep building on technique. I have to tell new artists all the time that balayage was invented in the 1970’s. I learned in the early 90’s how to do it. My technique has a modern twist but my foundation knowledge has not changed. I believe artists are better when we collaborate and lift each other up.
@@cmayo5659 I have been practicing with forms for a week now and I still can't get it right 😭 I have young nails forms and some from Amazon and they don't stick well together 💔 and I have acrylic all over sometimes maybe it's me
@@karenspier44 yes they do when ever I use hard gel or polygel this way I always add some more product on after ..just for strength ... I also use acrylic this way and they stay for weeeeeeeks I currently have a girl testing and this is her 8th set and they've all stood on passing our 4 week mark goal...
I would love a video on the importance of leaving the cuticle alone if there is nothing actually in the way of of the manicure service... I get so many clients that want me to cut their cuticles and I personally have taken a stand on not messing with the cuticles (unless I need to) so it's created some tension when my guest don't understand why the manicure doesn't always need a cuticle clipping. I think so many more issues can arise when clipping them esp, on the day after if their cuticles are sore. I don't want their nail experience to have any memory of discomfort. But some customers just do not get it.
You're actually talking about the eponychium, which is living skin, not cuticle. Your approach would be to educate them. Cuticle is the film-like substance which lies on the surface of the nail. Pushing this off the nail or using a fine/medium file or sanding band to remove it is all that is encouraged with any enhancement (including polish) for adhesion of product.
Omgeeeeeee I don’t know why took me so long to order!! I bought them during this past flash sale and OMG they are amazing the best type of gel I’ve ever worked with so smooth comes out so precise it’s good for anybody from beginner to pro I just can’t gush enough about this product
I watched this video when it first was uploaded....I am going to try this technique on my non dominant hand using items from this year's mystery boxes! 👍😘 YN is the best!
I love how the full cover tip is removable with the synergy gel. All polygel that I’ve used don’t last, don’t have strength, etc. So excited to try this!
Aw man, I totally thought I created a new technique today. 😅 I thought this up in my brain last night and tried it today. You guys came up with it 10 months ago. LOL
Lindo trabajo muy profesional bellos el detalle de sólo hechar el gel a la mitad del tips muy preciso para toda la uña muy lindo la técnica.. saludos.🇦🇹🌄🇦🇹
I use my hand file for most of my prep, and e file for cuticle area. I still end up cutting myself though, with the hand file. But this method looks easier than sculpting.
Hey guys, Pls pls can you do a video on how thick acrylic should look before gel application. We are doing a lot of it at my work place just want to know from you guys because I believe in you and have learnt a lot thanks
You can use the under the nail bit to clean/smooth out or here is another video for you: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-r2NBjm_meB4.html
I 'm wondering about using a light touch when applying, is there a chance to get air bubbles and greenies? I'm a diy'r and appreciciate all your time, thank you
I am using this technique with hard gel from past 3 months but i find it thin the extension is so i do overlay on them and build apex area well..and if i press lil hard i have to use e-file underneath.❤️
You could just leave the tip on and you wouldn’t have to do all that. So many videos on this technique. Nice to see YN keeping up with new techniques. I don’t think this is a detriment to nail techs at all. Can non nail techs do this ? Yes, they can. Doesn’t mean they want to forever. Just getting through this pandemic and feeling pretty that your nails are done. I still believe in the certified nail techs doing nails. It is not easy to do your own nails! 😜😘
@@mgi6659 This can be best option who don't want to go for sculpting nail and in less time.. about certification, there are many nail technician who are certified but work is like still learning so it's all depends how we level up the game by learning new stuff everytime by practicing. YN always come up with great ideas n upcoming trends so i love to watch them❤️
Is this the same as the synergy gel in the jar just in a tub? And if I want the tip to stay in with the gel I would just take the shine off the in side if the tip right or will this gel work for that love your guys work thanks for making videos
I’ve seen this method be an epic fail on some people, and was wondering if that was because they used gel full cover tips. What material would these tips be made out of? I definitely would like to try them out.
@@meganmaldonado5198 you're welcome. If you're new to gel or scared of gel this a hack to get rid of the intimidation. Most of the brands with gel tips have videos on RU-vid of how to use & prep their nails.
Can you do a real time and how much full set of these? And these last just as well as when regular sculpted nails?! I'm obsessed with this it will save so much time!
@@youngnailsinc so I got it and tried it both ways regular sculpt and dual form and let me say.. the dual form was not easier for me! Maybe I wasn't applying at right angle or something but lots of overflow under the nails and it just seemed easier to use regular form and sculpt--i know it takes practice but maybe do more troubleshooting on it--i also did it with both forms using the reg form to keep from having overflow under the nail and it helped some but still seemed more trouble than just sculpting bit I love this concept and would like to see more so maybe I can get the hang of it!
