Thank you ! this has led me to realize I can also use the above method (I think) for using Google Sheets in Arcgis Pro ! will need to test all this but might actually solve a lot of my workflow issues
That's a really good point - the thought didn't occur to me to try it in Pro. It could be really helpful if it worked the way I think it does. I'll also have to try that out. Good luck!

This was very helpful thank you! Would we be able to edit the fields/cells in arcgis and have edits show up on the google sheet? If so would you be able to provide a tutorial on how to do this as well? Thank you!
I actually had to test that to confirm - but it doesn't work in the reverse for the most part (edit fields in arcgis and have it reflect in the google sheet). My hunch is that it's probably due to it being cross-platform, but don't quote me on that! If you're into python scripting, you probably could create a model in an ArcGIS Notebook to have it automatically sync changes from a designated CSV - that is a little beyond my coding abilities, but it would probably work (most likely would require credits).
