Idol! Genuine question, why do we connect our music source to the drum module? To also record the music source sounds? Can we just play the source loud?
Really good! Du you know If i can take the drum sound to the computer, to enhance it with example Ezdrummer DAW. Then take the sound from computer to phone? Thanks!
Strange, for me it didn't work. I plugged everything in the right place but heard nothing on my headset. I had to run it through my Laney drum monitor to be able to hear and record anything. I am using Roland TD07-DMK, a notebook for input and a Samsung Galaxy A32 5G for recording.
Is the other end of the irig 2 connection 1/4 cable or the headphone jack necessary for anything with respect to getting audio and video for a drum cover?
Matt, thank you for posting this , it’s honestly the best tutorial on this out there . One question for you , it’s all working fine but I’m having problems with the drums volume over the song mix , they’re waay too loud . I CAN adjust them through the module main volume knob but i have to turn them down so Much i can barely hear them through the headphones when I’m playing with the song . Any help would be appreciated.. thank you
Hi there, try to set the volume of module in the middleor halfway only,then adjust the volume of the music source louder than the module. Now you can still adjust the volume of the drum module if if the music source is too loud. If the music source still louder than the module,the option B is adjust each kit one by one to maximum volume. You can adjust each snare drum,tom,cymbals etc. then you have the volume adjustment on your headphones too
Sir bakit po yung yamaha DTX 400ko ayaw po gumana ng irig2? Hindi sya nag rerecord sa phone. Pag nakasaksak sa irig ng phone yung headset ayaw nya gumana. Pero pag nakarekta po sa module gumagana po. Sana masagot nyo ko sir
I got a problem, my phone is a type c, when I use " 3.5 to type c converter ", the sound is totally bad. But my original old 3.5 phone is perfect How can I fix it? thanks

Hi. Thank you sa comment mo sa video. Bout dun sa tnong mo, oo pwede xa gmitan ng iRig2 gwa ung sa tdx15 dun sa “output” port nya un ung output mono ng alesis,then may aux din ung sa aroma tdx15. Un nmn ang pra sa audio/music source or ung drumless tracks
Sir may tanong po ako iba din kasi version ko ng Irig 2 wala ung THRU na option, ano lang sya ung single output lang. Tas ginawa ko po steps niyo open camera din gamit pero minsan nawawala ung tunog ng drums, minsan meron pero maganda naman audio quality sadyang ganon lang paano po ifix sir? Hey bro I upgraded phone and now everything works perfectly but the songs coming from device I use (Xiomi Redmi Pro Note 9) sounds like it is underwater? Have you any suggestions? Do I need to change Spotify setting or something?
@@Matt26TV looks like it could be the source of the music from the device, everything sounds perfect it's just the music and I replaced aux and now out of ideas
I setup my cables to what you have but when recording on my camera app it still records the external audio and not what is coming from the drum module. I am running Android 11 on Google Pixel 4a so it is not an older phone. Any ideas?
Boss pag nag record masasama din record ung source audio?since ang source audio is to module, then module to Irig, then Irig to recording unit (laptop)?
@@Matt26TV pano kaya yung setup boss na hindi masasali record audio?ang gusto ko sana mangyari is marinig ang audio and drums in one output (headset) but d kasali sa recording ang audio, ung drums lang. Baka may masasuggest ka. Salamat

Tanong po kuya. Paano pag ung audio na narerecord sa phone ko hindi masyadong clean? Parang sa simula okay lang pero hihina ung volume minsan tapos balik sa normal tapos hihina ulit. Alam mo ba bakit ganito sakin?
Yun nga po ang downside ng IRIG.suggestion ko po.irecord nyo ng separate yung audio from your module then kung sa editing nmn po saka nyo ilapat yung audio ng audio seource nyo pra mbalanse nyo po ang lakas
