You should offer to take somebody from the FWC with you and fish that very same spot again. I'm sorry that your customer had to go through that. you handled it very professionally.
I can't stand fake authority. When people with little power act like they rule the world. For god sakes guys spearfish on active drilling platforms with no issue. Yet someone working on a bridge has an issue with fisherman. I'd enjoy watching you guys while at work.
Thank you for clarifying that for us Brant. It's getting harder and harder to find water to fish in. I've had State Park rangers "not enforce" the park rules on swimmers who are swimming in a Fishing Allowd/No Swimming because it was "too hard". I just shook my head and asked them why they even had rangers if they did not at least attempt to enforce the rules. I image this is different from FWC and laws though.
Great video. Technique question: I never see you dealing with an anchor. Do you anchor around the bridges or rely on trolling motor skills? Seems like the boat is always in perfect position so I would be impressed if it is all trolling motor. Thanks!
Once again another great video. I see even our northern gulf fisherman have problems with people trying to invoke the F.W.C because for whatever reason they hate people fishing near them. Great video though nice spanish and slot reds.
Wish I was in Florida fishing haven't been saltwater fishing since June planning a trip the end of this month, did get to catch some crappie and some bass today another good day of fishing👍, but any day fishing is a good day, going after flatheads tonight!
Would love to make a trip down to FL with my wife and go on a fishing trip. I use to live there back in 05 and came back to Arkansas in 07.... havent been back since. Would love to make a trip nxt summer and bring back memories

I have several times had women in public try to tell me what to do while I am minding my business just fishing. I usually just look at them and say. I am not your husband! They just huff, and walk away. I tell the dudes OK Karen. They get the message too.
If someone with power or little power of authority try to tell me what to do when I'm minding my business and I'm legally not doing anything wrong I'm not gonna listen just gonna tune them out like usual
