Using MiG-23ML to FINISH my USSR tech tree (R-24T) 

You can either climb late so all the f14's and mig29's have already fired their bvr missiles or you can just be vigilant and just notch/take a while to reach the battle so by the time you get there no one is at high alt firing missiles anymore

​@@namespacestd1315 mins. Sit on runway for a bit. They fly to the left instead of straight forward towards enemy airfield

@@nektarkir4220 in the smaller maps yea i guess. maybe 5 minutes is too long, 2-3 minutes is probably better, even with the longer enduring conflict maps

man i really wish i could do that too, but i was away for a week so could only get 8 of the stars, not enough to sell the coupon

still good, i have 1.5 k/d ratio while being mediocre player, with r24r or r24t and speed you can get reliable kills even in full uptiers, in downtiers you are god

Is it still good after new update? Should I buy mig or su 25k for grnding @@mosadcoow

yeah, r24rs are free kills against high enemies (as long as they dont stop tracking) and I got to rank 5 in 2 weeks wit it@@satysfc4140

@@mosadcoow how you check your k/d? because in statistcs it shows you all your kills (with A.I) ... so i have like 5.0 K/D on german strike aircraft after 300 battles but i know i dont have 5.0 cuz almost all of my kills were A.I

@@emilioortega8096 yes german mig23 has IRST. bind a key in settings for switching to IRST mode and you're good to go

keep in mind IRST doesnt do shit after you launched the missile, it's only use is to prevent the enemy to pre-flare your lock before launching
