I followed along and had no trouble getting a X11 desktop. It works great! Thanks!

Excellent video. I have been using this program for several years and agree it is very versatile. I setup my RPI sessions to have MobaXTerm auto login. I really like the pi for media, security camera, robotics, OpenCV, Deep Learning, Etc. Looks like you are using pi for work related communications. Anyway I enjoyed your video. Thanks Claude.

Interesting video but why not just run a VNC server on your RPi and access it from a VNC client on your PC?

Hi Martin. Sorry I could not reply directly, the "system" won't allow me to reply to linked comments. I don't enable the desktop on my Raspberry Pi computers by default, I did this to reduce the number of processes and services running on the Raspberry Pi, it's not a powerhouse of computing... why run a desktop when it's not needed? The G4KLX D-Star Repeater and ircDDB Gateway are running in daemon mode so they don't require a desktop either. VNC would serve little purpose with no desktop and no graphical programs running. With the single TCP port 22 I can get terminal access, SCP (for file transfer) AND X11 forwarding... using the power of the remote computer running Windows to handle the graphical elements when required.

Hey Can you please make a video how did you build your Raspberry Pi computer? Thank you

I will consider it. There are a few good videos out of RU-vid that shows how to set up a Raspberry Pi for use with digital amateur radio.

when I write dstarrepeaterconfig 1 it says "Command not found" Why is that? I have an raspberry pi 2. Well after all, none of the commands you wrote are working.

Are you using the Dl5DI repository to install the G4KLX software on the Raspberry Pi?
