Please please please show up close how you approach a color change, and then change back after. I need to see it to understand. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽. You are such a blessing 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Really LOVE how you changed the colors! So Beautiful! I redo all (most) of my mistakes too because "if it's worth doing. It's worth doing well". You've inspired me.
Stunning work!!! I've made several mosaic crochet projects and would love to make a multicolored one, but it is sooooo intimidating to me. Breaking it down like you have, as well as your tips, is awesome.
You do it the same way I do! I also have a few videos on color changes, but I carry my 2nd & sometimes 3rd row colors up through muliple rows if they aren't too far apart..
You are definitely doing an advanced blanket. The ones I do is working one color per row. Your blanket is beautiful. It would drive me nuts with ends in middle with knots. Again love your work.
Algorithms finally working in my favor for once ❤ I am exactly where you were 2 years ago. Made a couple of blankets and ready to add a 3rd color. Timing is Excellent.
Oh, don't glue the strings! Sew them in at the end of each row as you go. I know, I hate tacking in the ends but you have an amazing project going on there. You are probably already finished with it by now but you would hate for the glue to not hold down the road. Thanks for your help on this explaining how you did this.
Hi right now I am working on my cottage core mosaic blanket and granny squares blanket and butterfly 🦋 mosaic blanket and I love your channel and your videos and if you keep making videos I will keep watching them and what is your favorite crochet project to work on right now and favorite types of yarn to used when crocheting and keep up the great work on your RU-vid channel and keep up the great work on your crochet projects
Allô, votre vidéo m’a fait beaucoup de bien! Je viens de commencer un projet de crochet mosaïque et ,ce qui me rassure, c’est que je suis passé par les mêmes étapes (frustrations) et j’en suis venue à faire comme vous! Merci encore! Votre projet est magnifique!
Wowza!! I really love your blanket! It looks amaaaazing! I still haven't tackled Mosaic crochet .... yet! My only hold up is all of the ends & that I might go down a rabbit hole as I tend to get tunnel vision! You're really enticing me into that whole world of mosaic crochet! The Canadian Crocheter recommended you. 🥰Blessings from South Australia💕🐨
Give it a try! It's really rewarding to see it come together. I have so many more I want to do. When I start a new one, I'll post more videos 😁 I'm in Canada too, greetings from across the world 😃
Hello! I love your video and I love your blanket ! You have a kind face and a very nice voice ! I’m watching your video to learn how I know when it’s safe to change colors before the actual color change. Some people say to change colors to or three stitches before the actual color change but to make sure they’re going to be covered in the next row. Is this what you say also? Is the only way I can tell they were going to be covered is by looking into the extra one seeing if they’re drop-down doubles? I would love a little color in my life! Please help! Thank you😅
I love your blanket! If you used Knit Companion to follow your charts, you can hook them all together in the app and no need to mark where chart ends/begins. Thank you for sharing.
Wonder work and way above my current mosaic skill grade. Is there a link to purchase the pattern and which app are you using to count the stitches and put in the coloring?
Are you using 4ply yarn? I have some red heart yarn in color changes that looks like yours. 9green) Also what size hook are you using? My problem is I crochet on the loose side and a pattern like this comes out very large. I own more 4 ply yarn than a small store. Thanks for your video
I suppose you could also print out the pattern and manually highlight with pen 🤔 printing can be expensive with ink and paper tho. But for me with dyscalculia i manage better with physical paper instead of app screen.
You can definitely do that. I thought of doing it that way before I found the highlighter function in the app. I also like paper because I can doodle notes on it.
I love your video and I love your blanket! You have a nice voice and a kind face! I I understand the technique use for caring yarn and adding different colors of yarn, but I don’t quite understand how many stitches before the color changed to change colors. Some people say to change colors like three stitches ahead of time but to make sure that there’s going to be coverage over those. Will I know there’s coverage over by looking at the next row and seeing if there’s double crochet over it? Is that the way to tell!? Please help!
Hello, I love your blanket. I’m wondering if you could tell me the name of the beautiful Christmas blanket that you showed the two-sided border on. I’d like to buy it. Also the yarn you used on it, thanks!
I’ve been looking for a technique like this!! Please tell me where I can find a custom pattern maker. I have a 2 color logo that I need a have converted into a pattern.
I brought a mosaic pattern that only had 2 colours per section, that after a couple of blankets I got use to mosaic stitch. I just went out and brought a pattern, it’s only 2 colours, but as you said there is a lot of counting. it seems thicker, is that normal. I noticed yours is pretty thick , will you be using it as a wall hanging ?
Hi! Please put subtitles in other languages on your channel. It's possible. The channel owner activates subtitles and we can use our language to understand what you are saying. kisses from Portugal ❤
I purposely did not show the tablet too close because I don't own the pattern. I want to respect the creator by not releasing it to the public, it can be purchased on Ravelry.
Great instructions. Please test your fabric glue first. I have used it before on a colorwork project and it left a visual glue spot. Not great after doing all that work. Lesson learned.
Row Counter has a function that allows you to highlight and draw on the pattern. I think I'll do a tutorial for this app but I want to be sure I'm using it properly first.
@@trudy_lam thank you. That would be so kind for you to take your time to help us old folks to better understand. I had row counter but switched to Knit Companion. I think I’ll try to download Row Counter again. 🥰
Because they are 2 different sizes, you'll have to add about 5 stitches on either side of the wording section so the banner is centered. Best of luck! 😀
