Extracting is so satisfying. One of my favorite parts of interior detailing. Did you have a chemical in your rinse solution or just clean water? Tried the flex ice yet?
It is right?! I just use water for now, but I did just buy the Pro Chem Fabric Rinse to put in my extractor and neutralize any cleaning chemicals, I havent tried the Flex ICE yet, I wanted t try this first. it was a little cheaper also.
I used it straight out of the bottle on this but you can dilute 10:1 or 4:1 or straight depending on how bad the stains are. I have used the terminator yet.
Random question man but I wanted your opinion. How do you handle customers who drop off or have 2 sets of floor mats in their vehicle? Do you charge extra?
Hi. Is that 2 questions. One on drop offs and he other on extra mats? If so, I do like to have some customers drop off the vehicle, it makes it easier for us. I don’t charge more or less for that. And if they have extra mats I don’t really charge extra for that either...but you certainly could if there are a lot of mats. I hope that answers your questions. What do you think....should I do a live question and answer session?
I bought a gallon of this carpet bomber and mine doesn’t foam up with the drill brush attachment and I tried a little over 8:1 since I have the chemical guys secondary bottles. I used the same exact ration with chemical guys fabric clean and that one foams up sometimes a little too much. What ration do you use? I’m using the tatio the bottle says to use.
@@MirandaDetailing 🤔🤔🤔 only one way to find out! Hey if it ends up working better than your current you could always do a giveaway. I know a Smurf who is in need lol. Just kidding man! Lol keep up the satisfying vids.
Phil, was looking at the bucket heater you have listed and I'm curious how well it works, how hot does it get the water?? I'm thinking of using it so I have Hot Water on hand for my little extractor...
Hi. It takes a long time for it to get cold water really hot. I use it mainly to put in my wash buckets that I filled with hot water already to keep them nice and warm through out the day. I tested it in a bucket with cold water and it took a long time to heat up. But it’s not super hot.
Thanks. It’s the older myteelite II 8070. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-K9hRbGtrhtU.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KnAuatdgy3M.html
Its good stuff!! I got a gallon and the 1pt. bottle last year... I diluted it 1 to 1.. seems to work just as good.. I really like the Xpress interior cleaner.. (also diluted 1.1) 👍🏼👍🏼
I'm always afraid of those hard to get rid off stains. Like what do you tell the customer if you get rid of all the stain or the dis coloratioin of the carpets.
Hi. Great question! So before a detailer even touches a vehicle there should be a thorough discussion and walkaround. we detailers understand that some vehicles are beyond cleaning. Some stains will never come out and sometimes what looks like staining is actually damage. So always prep the customer before hand and let them know that some stains may not come out completely. This way they are ready. to accept that reality. I would recommend you have the customer read and sign an acknowledgement form so that they understand...plus it protects you as a professional. You can download our free acknowledge form document and edit it as you see fit. download it here: www.mirandadetailing.com/productsandtools.html
@@MirandaDetailing these forms you have available on your website? Are they looked at by an lawyer first before making them available to clients or can anyone use them as protection without having a lawyer involved beforehand?
@@rojoeclipse94 There is no need to have a lawyer involved. Any business can make up a their own forms and use them. If any customer signs them they are perfectly legal.
Hi. It can be. That’s why we use a fiber rinse in the clean water tank. It cuts the foam down. You can also get a de foamer solution that you use in the clean water tank and that works also.
Hi. I don’t use a fiver rinse in the extractor. Just regular water. Hi this may change that and start using Flex Ice. I have heard great things about it.
Yeah it depends. Smetkmes the foam can be good to catch particles from brushing the carpets then you wipe it away. But foam is bad for extractors. It can damage the vacuum motor.
So one has to realize that some stains will never come out 100%. The carpets are not dirty, the stain is simply permanent. One has to do further research to understand the difference.
