I do the same thing! For 2 months But I use bingo squares for the projects. If I have done some task - I put a sticker on project. I use it for a week, then start again.
Omg.... when I used to run on the treadmill, I used to pretend that I wanted to join the army, and that I had to last a certain amount of time to make it in. 😂😂
Lol, one of my former manager' mottoes was "Happy People are Productive People" so she went over and above to make sure all of us were happy in our work. (Her other one was "Always speak to your subordinates as if you were speaking to your superiors." so needless to say we felt very very valued there. Myself, I'm not a gamer cus I already experience Life like that. I am playing MomCraft. ;)
Fantastic video, thank you for uploading! What also helps me is to play certain scenarios: My flat is my spaceship and I've got to keep it clean and running. I'm a medieval maid cleaning up the bar I'm a 50s housewife (without the war trauma) and so on and so on
I never thought of reframing failure that way... I think it might actually help me cause failure to me is like game over right now and life isn't like that
Your videos are always educational and creative with ideas for productivity and planners! I have seen a few videos here on RU-vid that could be helpful to create fun! Jashii Corrrin has videos about using self-care bingo. Diane in Denmark does videos on Fridays, where she provides four self-care assignments, you can choose from for the week like create a new outfit or try a new recipe. On a channel named that awkward mom, she has a video called no energy to clean, try a tidy tango. Which is do a 5 minute dance before cleaning. Also in Mariane Cresp video boost your mood, you discusses ideas like listening to music!
The timing on this video was perfect for me. I have to write evaluations today, and it’s something I always dread. I’m trying to make it more fun to go to a local coffee shop to do it. I’ve never been there before, so it’s a little adventure for me. I’m also going to try the pomodoro technique to break it down into manageable chunks. Thanks for another great video.
I didn't even realize I've been doing the fact finding mission for years 😆 probably what's gotten me this far. I'd love to hear how others work in the curiosity part! As a sahm I'm running out of ways to make it fun by adding fun on top (music, podcasts etc) but it's hard to find the curiosity.
