I saw this comment and I was thinking no fucking way how could that happen and then there's my ears ringing as I come back here to comment it JESUS CHRIST
"This one makes me think of time... and how so much... how so... how much so little of it." Nate, 2020 Truly a philosopher of our generation, really makes you think...
Bro you’re honestly the biggest inspiration for me (and probably many more) new producers. So many channels just tell you to “do this exact settings on this parameter” or use a lot of tech jargon. As someone without a lot of experience, your casual and fun approach not only makes music seem less intimidating to make, but it makes it fun.
@@bigearsinc.7201 You'll get there dude! Reverse engineering presets are a great way of learning. My problem when I was new and tried from scratch, was that I overthinked it and wasn't sure what was right etc. There aren't really any rights or wrongs, just go with your ears :3 You should just go for it, and tweak it until you feel that it's good :)
Rocket Powered sound? *nostalgia kicks in* “Hey guys it’s Shane from rocket powered sound and today we are going to be making this INSANE Virtual riot style sound!”
Well, using presets isn't wrong. Yes, some people might find it "wrong" or "unoriginal" but there may be reasons. Maybe the user still doesn't know how to create their own growls/presets. But music production isn't really about using or not using presets. It doesn't really matter. Music is just for enjoyment for others and the one that's creating the music. It's just really about the enjoyment, and what sounds good to you.
@espoir inconscient Everyone has their own perspectives, me being wrong id your perspective, and me thinking that it's about the enjoyment is my perspective. So it's basically just different opinions. So I respect yours. Music production is still enjoyable nonetheless.
And I also think that using presets may be able to help people improve. It's like, baby steps and such. After using presets, they might try to experiment with sounds too and make their own sounds.
@@cvrrionmusic Too true dude.. I do use presets but I still change everyone one because surprise surprise you can't really throw something in all the presets together and expect it to work
I do both. I sound design myself and also modify presets either in Serum or using ableton’s frequency shifter and a high cut EQ around 100hz or so to make it more different
the rocket powered sound ads with the guy going through the presets and smiling awkwardly while doing weird hand movements is the most awkward ad ive ever seen
