While I absolutely love the fact that the Koopalings all have unique, funny dialogue for these scenarios, it makes the replicas even more pointless, considering that you also can't use them for any puzzles outside of battles.
FishStix replica are able to get in card spin, which makes story and progression totally ruined and a huge plus for speedrun, it is funny they didn't make it an oversight but kamak battle did.

Ok but seriously, Larry needs more character development. Compared to the development Lemmy and Morton got in this game, he may as well speak in a monotone voice.

The real Thing animation should’ve been something they do with the replica (not necessarily the same) but the real Thing is too powerful (or the Replica is too weak). For example, Morton still panics, but with the replica extinguisher, the fire keeps going because it’s not powerful enough. With Larry, he uses some spell to take cover, but the real corks pierce down. Replica balloons can’t withstand the Ludsub’s weight. Replica washing machines don’t wash black paint. Replica Cameras are shit quality, and Wendy would notice. With the real bone, the Chain Chomps chew on the bone while the big one comes, but with the Replica, the chain chomps move. Lemmy’s Disco Ball replica reaction works, but the replica Ice Pick can’t pop the Wonder Ball. Did it for all the Koopalings because why not?

I think they missed an opportunity here to add a difficulty select to these fights. The replica could have partially nullified the boss's ability, giving you a harder but still winnable battle. Examples: Morton: Has a smaller, weaker hammer that can still do some damage. Iggy: Breaks some wheels on the chariots, making them do less damage, and only sometimes be able to escape. Ludwig: Not sure on this one. Vehicle can only partly submerge? Wendy: No idea. Larry: Smoke is partially blocked, causing accuracy drop for both sides (good chance for alternate dialog) Lemmy: Ball springs a leak instead of exploding, causing it to slowly deflate. Roy: Partially cleans view, leaving some parts obscured.
Morton: Hah!! Fail!! Iggy: Don't throw garbage at me Ludwig: Get the fuck away from me Wendy: Thanks for the selfie!! Larry: You thought this would work?? Pathetic!! Lemmy: I ain't falling for that shit!! Roy: Cheap washing machines never work
Replica Camera is the only Replica that is worth anything outside of Wendy fight. I just wished the bosses would use their ultimate attack (read: insta kills) when you used a replica. No need for controllable helplessness, right?
Three Replicas that made me laugh the most was: 1. Wendy: She Photobomb Paper Mario’s Picture. 2. Ludwig: He uses a Missile to target on Birdo and then Exploded. 3. Roy: The Washing Machine gets reversed. 😂🤣

My personal favourite has to be the Washing Machine. It starts up normally, but then from out of nowhere it goes in reverse. Since I heard sources that the replica of the Washing Machine still works, I was expecting it to continue normally, but NOPE! Now I giggle EVERY TIME I watch the washing machine replica. I've seen in a Let's Play of this game that Replicas surprisingly work in the battle against Black Bowser. I wonder what would occur if they didn't work in the battle with Black Bowser.
