Why is Dex essentially given with all the treatments for Multiple Myeloma? Is it to lower the informatory response from treatment? Even then is it really needed when Vitamin D3 10,000IU and Pepcid an H2 blocker could do the same?

Thomas, this is a great question and one that we hope to address in upcoming events. As a short answer, clinical trials have proven in to improve efficacy and synergy of other myeloma medications. There are also several clinical trials testing effective dexamethasone dosages, replacements, and removing dex all together. Stay tuned!
