One major thing Ive heard is people say it burns their skin. The reason is that serums like hyaluronic acid absorb 3000x their weight in water so if you put it in dry skin it sucks the moisture out of the deeper layers of skin. Put it on damp skin and if it dries very quickly spray your face with water, wait, do it again until it stops feeling tight and takes a while to dry. I had this problem until I read that dry climates will do this. I hope this helps anyone reading
I have heard and read a lot of times that you should not exfoliate face skin daily. I do it once a week and use serum every day at night, but not every day in the morning, only when I am going to stay at home.
Dr. Thanks for the very informative video. Please make also a video on morning and nightime skin care routine for melasma and product recommendations. Thanks and more God bless you.😊
I scored 0/5 and I'm so proud of myself because I'm a complete newbie (started my skincare routine less than 2 weeks ago). I use a mild salicylic acid wash, exfoliate with glycolic acid 5% every other day and only serum I use so far is vitamin C
Vitamin C serums are mostly BS cause they can't get in your skin so basically they are useless unless you put a good budget for expensive brands that have used special tech to improve their formula so it can enter your skin tissue and actually work.
Ah! I was wrong! 1/5 too! I also rubbed in the beginning of use, then learned the correct parting way. Damn. 1/5. I didn’t deserve that kitty pic after all. 😂
Ng nkita ko to bngo ko skin routin ko hilamos tapos serum and moisturizer wala png isang buwan mlki ngbgo kuminis at mlambot mukha ko.low maintenance product lng pero npkalaki ng pgbbgo.thank you.
Nasobrahan naman saken susmio. Kaya pala walang pagbabago. Murad pa naman at body shop pagkamahal mahal. Il try ordinary since asa US na ako ubusin ko lang ang gamit ko sayang eh
5/5. I have acne pron skin, i use a face wash with salicylic acid then a niacinimide serum then moisturiser then sunscreen. At night include a under eye cream and Vaseline. I recently started to use to toner and iam about to include a Salycilic acid serum as well. My fav product is my niacinimide serum bcuz my skin got a lot better after using it.
I use vitamin C, hyaluronic acid in the morning then moisturizer. In the evening I use hyaluronic acid every night then retinol every other day then moisturize. Once a week on the nights that I don’t use retinol I use lactic acid.
Cos de baha lactic acid and cos de baha snail mucin is what I use. Anything from that brand is AMAZING. I get it on Amazon but haven't looked elsewhere. Their Vitamin C is amazing, too.
I have hyperpigmintation dark spots on my face. CLEAN, TREAT, PROTECT Morning; *I wash my face using hydrating cleanser *Vitamin C with backuchiol *face moisturiser with spf30 *Sunscreen with zinc oxide spf50 or tinted sunscreen spf50 with titanium dioxide. *At night I wash my face with cleanser *Super serum niacimide *moisturiser night cream
I got 4/5! AM: water cleanse + spf moisturiser PM: double cleanse + alpha arbutin + niacinamide + azalea acid + moisturiser. So I am using too many things in the evening!
I use a serum for sensitive skin, it has prebiotics, hylauronic acid and rose water in it! I’m very new to the whole thing though, I’ve only used it twice and I’m not exactly sure what exactly it’s supposed to do, but anything that might help my skin is good, haha 😆 So far I’ve only committed the rubbing sin!
4 th step rubbing more times I am using past 2 months 2 bottles minimalist now 1 bottle relifted next months pulm vitamin C serum & Cetaphil Moisturizer and then cleaser simple face wash finally sunscreen dernaco sp50+++ 1)Face wash 2)apply serium 3)Moisturizer 4)Alovera gel 5)Sunscreen This pattern is correct or wrong please reply doctor
I use both Vitamin C, Retinol and Niacinamide at night before bed and in the morning, I only use Hyaluronic acid serum. Both times, I am cleansing my face before applying serums, but since I wash my face in a cleansing face wash containing Salicylic acid in the morning, I do not want to add retinol after a salicylic wash and also, vitamin C (and also Retinol) makes the skin prone to sun damage during daytime. Vitamin C and Niacinamide enhances each other, so they are great to combine. Hence, I use all the vitamin serums (3 serums) at night and the hyaluronic acid serum for moisture in the morning after a salicylic face wash. The order is always Vitamin C first, then Retinol and then Niacinamide (the last to have the same consistency). Niacinamide applied last to calm down any potential irritation.
O/5! I’ve made none of these mistakes so far! Thanks! I’m using niacid at the moment. My second bottle, I’m praying this stuff works!! I have all my hopes in this tiny little bottle. I guess I’m about 2-3 months in, I do notice a difference in the softness of my skin, for scarring I’m not quite sure yet, some improvement, but I’m not giving up yet, I see enough promise I want to keep going. Thanks for this video! I love kitties! And this was VERY helpful!
Thanks for your explanation. I used vitamin C, Alpha arbutin and hyaluronic acid serums every other day but my t-point is brighter than my face I don't apply the serum on my t point but is still brighter and I used olay collagen peptide as my face cream
I started last month and i actually scored full. I use only niacinamide serum in daytime and niacinamide+retinol at night. I was going to use vitamin c serum but in another shorts of this channel I got to know that I should not use vitamin c if I have acne problem and should go with niacinamide+salicylic acid instead. Turns out it really works for me. So right now i have the following routine and since I am new to the whole skin care routine please correct me if using wrong ingredients or order. Daytime: rose water toner + niacinamide serum + aloe Vera gel + sunscreen spf30 Nightime: rose water/salicylic acid (twice a week) + niacinamide serum + retinol + aloe Vera gel.
I have oily and acne prone skin. Morning routine is? Salicylic acid facial cleanser Naicinamaid serum by ordinary Cosrx moisturiser and Cosrx sunblock Night-time routine is? Salysilic acid cleanser Glycolic toner and cosrx snail mucin Is this the right way to use or I did it wrong? Hope u can response 🙂 I always watching ur vedios doctor Skynfyx❤
1/5 . Sometimes I forget to be gentle and rub the serum too strongly on my face , which does cause a lot of it to just stay on my palms , having the opposite effect to what I'm trying to achieve.
I’m using vitamin C plus hyaluronic acid in the morning and retinol plus hyaluronic acid and Cerave skin renewing night cream at night . By the way, I love to see the cat at the end of your video.
4/5. I used the wrong exfoliant for my skin. I had combination skin and used Salicylic acid serum for it but now I just began Glycolic acid serum a week ago because my biggest concern is texture and hyperpigmentation. Unfortunately I can't find a good glycolic acid toner for now so let's see how my skin is with this serum, hopefully will find a good toner soon! Also I use Vitaminc and niacinamide serum in the morning and switch between glycolic acid serum and salicylic serum in the nightime followed by mixing my nightcream with a drop of hyaluronic acid when my skin feels dry or dehydrated
Good Night Sir , I use vitamin C serum with vitamin E and Ferulic acid in morning .In night retinol serum and anti-aging retinol cream (Eveline products made by Poland)
5/5. My a.m. serums are a vitamin C & niacinamide combo serum & then my SkinCeuticals C&E ferulic. I use retinol and hyaluronic acid serums in my p.m routine.
Mine, I am seeing result for almost 2 months now when I started using it, I am using Salicylic acid, niacinamide and vit c, sunblock when going out and I can see good result, specially with my pimples, its gradually removed.
According to experts that combination is a no no because the niacinamide will make the vitamin C inactive. Use vitamin C in the morning and niacinamide in the evening.
my only mistake was rubbing the serum to my skin. I just started last month and I’ve been pretty consistent hence saw some good results. I only use pond’s serum which removed the unevenness of my skin and dark spots.
ive done all 5 mistakes😢😢no wonder my problems just keep coming even i follow the recommended ingredient 😢😢😢😢 i have oily skin with large open pores with lotss of sebaceous filament so im using cleaning oil ( Skin 1004 Oil Cleanser) + Cosmoderm Blue set ( Salicylic acid + Niacinamide) 😊
I love the bonus at the end of VDO much❤ Btw, retinol is also SERUM, isn't it? So, I'm 31 yrs now, I need retinol l, then there's only one place for serum, is that right?
I use niacinamide serum currently, as with the video you have released about niacinamide, it really does help with the inflammation of my pimples and helps with the texfure of my skin, thank you🇵🇭
I'm so proud of myself! I got a 5/5. I've gotten so much better at my skincare routine. 😊 I love my retinol serum with ceramides and hylauronic acid from cerave. One of the only retinols that doesn't severly bother my sensitive skin. I only use in evenings up to a few times a week and also never forget morning susnscren. I also love my vitamin c complex serum with vitamin e and hylauronic acid from naturium. Dont worry, I never use this at the same time as retinol. Also recently got a collagen peptide serum I'm trying out by inkey list. I'm liking it so far.
I use Khiels HA and Glycolic serums. Since I use them in the same day, I use GA serum first then HA serum. I don’t use the GA everyday, but when I do, I apply it first. I got 5/5 on the quiz, but it is because I asked a professional how to handle my skin issues. Thanks for the VERY informative video. I use it to send to my friends and family about how to use which product and when. Awesome video!
Mistake #3 for me! I will start patting instead. Morning Routine in order: Shiseido Softener Treatment (enriched), hyper! Hyper Even Brightening Dark Spot Vitamin C Serum, Glow Recipe Watermelon Niacinamide Dew Drops, Shiseido Benefiance Wrinkle Resist24 Day Emulsion SPF 18, Dr. Wu Hyalucomplex Extreme Hydrating Cream, then Shiseido Ultimune Eye Night Routine: Shiseido Softener Treatment (enriched), Shiseido Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate III, Glow Recipe Watermelon Niacinamide Dew Drops, Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream, then Shiseido Ultimune Eye *Sometimes I use the Acnes Point Clear rollerball for acne I have dry skin and still get acne at times. Do you have a suggestion for affordable products with lactic acid? Tatcha and Shiseido are already $$$, but they've helped in the past! However, I've been using the Shiseido softener and Ultimune power infusing concentrate for the past 5-6 years and I feel that the Ultimune no longer makes my skin feel moisturized?
My GF is Has-( Centella Ampoule, The vitamin C, Mixsoon bean essence, Anua deep cleansing foam, Anua NIACINAMIDE 10%+TXA 4%) and isnt sure what order to use them in.
I am 36. I use Vitamin C and Retinol regularly. But I'm not Sure. Should I use those Serums every day until the end If my life? Or does it make Sense to make a break of 3 months or Something Like that?
What to be used first hyaluronic acid or vitamin c, i've been applying hyaluronic and vita c but some says active ingredients like vitamin c should be used first
Hello Dctr..thank u for your video...I use Vit C, Retinol and niacinamide separately on different days...using for two months ..cannot see any diff....abit disappointed but will continue..
My skin become dark after I applied vitamin c serum in night without any other things on the face. could u please advise how to get rid of darkness caused ? Thanks for advice the right way of using.
I'm rubbing it in too hard, definitely, but it is still delivering results, I have to try tapping. I would like to hear your opinion on foreo iris serum - it works great for me, but maybe you'll have some tips and tricks
