G'day Andy, The ability to read your surroundings i.e water colour is why 10 percent of the fishermen catch 90 percent of the fish. Many times I had to fish through mongrel catty's😒 The bloody blighter's but it was a sign the barra weren't too far away and whack one on the deck. The barra engulfed those Raptors. I believe side scan first came out in Hummingbird but now are in other units. It has revolutionised fishing. Ability to see barra under snags and structure that hold the fish. The Major BB🎩👉🎣😃
