is the water storage tank model you used part of a SW in the design library or is it something you configured for a demo/use in your projects on your own?
In sales video they import civil engineering DWG files and can easily 3D extrude by selecting watertight contours. In the real world the civil drawings are crap! Lines don't intersect at corners, there are 5 or 6 lines on top of one another, some components are over-complicated like trees with 25 000 lines and arcs, would-be horizontal lines are at 0.00001 degree from horizontal. Everytime it is much less time consuming to simply draw from scratch healthy geometry than try to repair crap... my 2 cents!
The difference between 'ideal' and 'actuality' is striking for anyone that has experience with this kind of work and in these kinds of environments (in my experience). I feel you
Hi Gents, I need your help, I am trying to get this SolidWorks Pipe Routing Training, is there any specific name for it other than Pipe Routing, any institute in India you know provide this training for Pipe Routing? so many institutes have full Solidworks which I am not interested in I need only Piping and Vessels desgine, Please any advice, thanks.
