This is quickly becoming my favorite channel because you make teaching seem so much less daunting to me. I genuinely get more ideas and insight about how to teach from you than I do in my in school observations where the teachers usually don’t spend any time telling me what they’re doing and why.
I remember being in third grade and think it was soo hard but now looking back, as a sophomore in high school, I wish I could go back especially right now because I have four tests this week and one of them being the psats which is a lot ... but I mean I guess it could be worse

It's nice that you explain those things for those like me that are international. I teach 3rd grade in a bilingual school, half of the day ss are instructed in Spanish and the other half in English. I use Reading Street.. very similar :)
Can I just say I love all of your ideas! We both teach Engage NY for math and I teach with Journeys which is similar to Wonders. You give me new ways to look at things and I appreciate it!

Can you give suggestions of what you did to reinforce students ability to dissect telling time word problems? There are so many different types of telling time word problems!
I'm not sure if I'm correct because your a third grade teacher, but when I was in kindergarten centers was basically a second recess but inside so I'm a little confused. But yet again your the teacher.
