Hi, I would to set off a buzzer when the tripwire goes off. It has to be wireless, because I would like put a buzzer in 3 different buildings. Any ideas how to do this?

Very nice Video.. So I am wondering if your 4216 has a few things like mine does!? On my NVR I can setup the Ability to see what I call fast Action but on my NVR it is Preview Mode?! If I click AI any of the IVS triggers can also pop up on the main screen of only the NVR's GUI, I can Click that and it will show the Recorded file without having to do a Search or access playback menu! Also just incase for people that are looking to setup something like this you can also use the Alarm in the Schedule for setting up for recordings and doing a search for playback.. Take for instance you have IVS checked for search but only want events that caused an alarm. If that was in the Recording Schedule area when there is an alarm that was triggered or went off then that is what would be found when searched for.. This can be helpful if you have like ECO does with multi line crossing settings. With Alarm setting set, and the Rules are setup on a Schedule even though the IVS might still be found under the Search if it didn't setoff an alarm on that timing then it wouldn't show up on the alarms search.. However if that did set off the alarm because it was setup for that timing then it could be found under the Alarm search...

Hi Revo, thanks for your comment. Do you have the problem on your Dahua units whereby the recording jumps? For example, when in playback, it plays the clip but its not a smooth recording, some parts must have been missed, like i see a person walking then next thing he is 3m ahead and the NVR just missed that section? I had some luck by increasing the sensitivity, but maybe you have some pearls of wisdom here?

@@ecologicaltime Hello an thanks for reaching out, I personally don't have that issue. I will admit that there are some times that my Camera for what ever reason has a half or more then half at times Video in first few seconds that are Green. This is normally on my AI Camera channel. Also what is odd is that when I play it back from the Search it isn't there. It is like only when I play it back from the AI View off my Main GUI side bar on the right. I am not sure if you use IVS, But in mine right click the screen in any grid or single ch view, Then in Preview Mode I have mine in AI Mode. Only when I click that channel. I wish I had some to make a video however it hasn't done it lately and it might be because I moved one of my Tripwires to a different channel.. 3m ahead? So are we talking meters or minutes? Only asking because it might have something do do with your Detection zones, or even your Record Delay times. So say that your in your Grid for detection and only have a small Grid, But your scene is 4 minutes walking and your grid is starting say on the right, It could be that your Detection zone (Grid) needs to be larger, or your Delay needs to be longer. Also if Detection and SMD or AI isn't turned on for detection it could be that a Bird that wasn't seen has triggered and caused the 3 min.. Also what type of Scene is it? Have your Looked at your systems DORI? Lets say that I turn on my Face Rec, on my 2.7mm lens camera that is 100 feet from the ROI, I don't get anything worth using. However because this camera is also a Motorized zoom lens I move into the 12.5mm and now my FOV is much closer to the ROI and it can now Detect faces.. However pull back the camera and it won't be able to work because it is outside of the DORI for the camera.. Detect, Observe, Recognize and Identify respectively

@@ecologicaltime Also I guess I should have asked is this in Full time recording where you can see that Spot missing on your timeline? Is this camera a Wifi or POE camera? Have you tested your wiring and sure that your using Real Copper wiring and not CCA? Is this issue Constant or is it sporadic? Could you maybe upload a Sample of what your talking about and send me a link could be just a non published video of a short clip.. It Could be many things, It might be even Audio Detection if you have that Enabled, Like Motion picked it up first, then something happens in scene that caused loud noise that has trigged the Audio Record?

@@ecologicaltime Hello again. So I have not been able to get the NVR to do the Green Screen however while I was looking at some footage that I was sending to an FTP server on my AI DVR I noticed the Green screen so I thought I would upload that and pass the link to you to look at. You can Delete this post after you watch if you want to or can leave it online it is up to you. This is the link to the Video where I show what I was talking about the Green Screen.. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eHVGYLEG3a0.html.. Also after doing some playback today only time I get any type of jumps in playback is when I do a Smart Search and the screen goes from regular full time recordings to motion and or going from 1 event to the next.. It could be that the Motion Grid and your area of view that started the recording went to the end of your Record cycle (After the Anti-Dither) and then it was picked up again and recording started again. However if you look in your Motion Events in search that would be evident in the recorded files.. Are you using 1 or 2 HDD? Are you doing full time recording on HDD1 and motion on HDD2? Or being sent to 1 hdd . Is it older HDD and have you looked at your HDD smart Data?

hi Revo, thanks for the reply, the grid is the entire field of view. I just notice it jitters, its like it records and then there is a short gap and then continues. In my case its both for tripwire recording and regular recording. maybe i should play around with the delay. I recall i did that and it didnt make a difference but that was on an older NVR. My Hikvision NVRs have no such issues, record smoothly, no gaps. My Dahua however has gaps in recordings even when there is motion.
