My father was placed in Greenslades nursing home Exeter with full capacity as a place of safety following assault ...staff admitted he still had capacity 10 to 14 days later...he has later been drugged multiple times so then the Dr he'd never met before decided he has lost capacity. He could be stuck in there for another 6 months where the patients get no proper outside exercise or mental activities where they have blocked me and my brother visiting as it gets him too excited and they..at the time of the mental assessment blocked all calls from family and friends except my aunt with hearing aids who wanted him shoved in a residential home when he and I want to arrange live in care which he can afford...my father is also physically fit and skis the Olympic runs. This dementia tag annoys me as a child or someone in their 20s could get dementia it is too common a used tag as an excuse of so called dealing with someone that can be carried often is to extremes where human rights are excluded.

By me assume my capacity, support me make decision and respect my unwise decision, for me best interest and least restrictive decisions on my behalf

I’ve been told countless times because they think I have capacity I’m free to end my life as that’s my choice. I have Autism and BPD and have frequent psychotic episodes where I feel overwhelmed with the impulses and voices telling me to harm myself. I’ve attempted suicide twice in a week and not one mental health doctor cared and said the Capacity word when I asked for help. It’s nothing more than assisted suicide by the state.

It’s disturbing that doctors get to play god and decide who lives and dies based on presumed capacity. The right to life which is engrained in the human rights act should be respected and all efforts to protect at risk vulnerable adults in crisis taken. My arms are sadly scarred to heck now but that’s okay. Regular folk with empathy care when they engage with me.

Alot of these injustices are perpetuated by these poor individuals own ppls and families.....excuse my following words but... WTF is happening out there?! I've always been a "Apex Alpha individual" in every facet of my life I've been blessed, rule No.1 Take care of your ppl, [inturn] your ppl will take care of you. It's basic leadership building exercises that promotes a healthy strong safe and effective environment. All society stems from this dynamic

LPA is really useful especially when there are such high rates of abuse.
