I enjoyed hearing your thoughts on the MPC! I bought my second MPC ever a week ago, a MPC X SE. I sold my first, a MPC 2000XL around 2001. I absolutely LOVE ❤ my new MPC X SE. I am 63 years old, am an engineer by profession but also have a degree in music theory and play a couple instruments and sing. The MPC is much more like playing a physical instrument to me than any DAW and I started with Logic Pro Platinum in the mid 90’s, currently using Ableton and Bitwig. The MPC is inspirational to me! Keep making music!!😊
@@melodicauthority2390 I personally can’t take the tiny screen that was hard for me to read over 20 years ago. I really enjoy using the big touch screen and the modern DAW-like interface.
I own an MPC and a Push. For standalone, MPC workflow is king to Push, Push (with Ableton) editing and sound options is king to MPC; that's why I use them both together.
It makes you feel like you’re using an instrument. The latency is the buffer size with Maschine. The MPC does have a different feel. Maschine kits are dope. I have them loaded on my MPC using KitMaker.
