Greetings from VA! Joy, just stumbled on your video. Today I just received this ruler from MSQC! I was trying to practice on scrap fabric to use this, but it didn’t go too well. I’m a new quilter and have pieced one top so far. I’ve sewn for years! But quilting is new. I have pulled out some long stashed fabrics and added a new piece I bought a few weeks ago that would make a beautiful quilt. Alas, it’s all yardage. But I love the idea of triangles made from a tube. Four fabrics with at least two yards each. So I know I have enough fabric. My sisters all quilt and one said to sketch out a pattern on grid paper. Haven’t done that yet. I guess my question is this: Do you have a suggestion for a particular pattern from all yardage, especially since I’m just starting? So sorry to write so much.
