This video is right up my alley! Been curious on using a tonex with a QC since the amps look really good. Do you think the tonex amp models are better than the QC ones? Thanks for making videos for questions i’m too scared to ask haha!

Too soon to say, but I think they are compatible. Like I said in the video there's a big variation in quality - a lot like with the QC captures.

interesting, but not sure why anyone would do this. most captures available by pros are on both units and there is no lack of power to run stuff on qc, but i'll keep watching to see what develops

I'm not sure it's the way to go either. But it's an easy way to check out the Tonex ecosystem for those of us who are invested in the QC.

Neat and relatively cheap .. is the switch on the TONEX One a silent momentary or does it make a ‘clunk’ when pressed ?

The ToneX One is an amazing bang for the buck, but I wouldn't have any interest in one if I still had my QC. Using both just seems like it would unnecessarily complicate your rig for minimal benefits.

Especially since you can't use midi to have the QC control the Tonex One. But for home use its fun to try it out.

The Tonex One would be so much more useful with QC if it could be MIDI controlled. If they release a similar (size and price) Tonex pedal with midi I would probably get it for the QC.

@@Gitarnerden 100% agree. But they need to have some strong differentiation between the One and the larger pedal. Of course, not sure you could add midi (and the connection socket) and keep the small form factor.
