Using Ultrasound Heel Toe Technique 

This video is just a short snippet in the training for Pulse Wave Doppler Techniques for MALS, Liver Transplants, Renal Transplants & Peripheral Arterial Studies, using ultrasound Heel-Toe Technique with an ultrasound transducer. These types of exams rely heavily on the proper angle correction on a transducer. Improper use of angle correction can change the calculated velocity of blood flow moving through a vein or artery which can cause incorrect and misdiagnoses.
We use these departmental self-made training videos to teach our technologists various techniques in order to get the best scanning diagnoses of our pediatric patients.
