After trying the Caran D'ache Palette I would definitely recommend to use this method, especially when drawing on a very toothy cold press watercolor paper. Happy drawing & painting! 🎨

Thanks so much for your comment! I think that these pencils are surprisingly decent for their incredible price 😉and a great buy for those who just want to test how to work with watercolor pencils. I am glad I did. The color choices are a bit limited and maybe not as vivid as expensive brands, but good enough for simple coloring; besides new colors can be created by using textured palette & blending. They are nice and soft but sturdy; easy to sharpen and even the long point (as I use in my video) doesn't break. I hope this is helpful. And my voice... this is how I speak... Overall, I do not claim my video to be a tutorial; I'm simply sharing my own quiet explorations (kind of self-talk) of the new art medium.
