Do you know how to download a Windows ISO and Rufus and write a Windows ISO to a flash drive so that you can install Windows? If you don't follow this tutorial: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-abpAPQH1RsI.html if your computer is Windows 7 old then use MBR/BIOS in Rufus

It really sounds like that image is bad and you need to redownload the ISO. I would also run Crystal disk info to see if your hard drive is going bad because bad sectors can also keep an operating system from booting

@@Howeitworks Hard disk is perfectly fine and checked. When you select the source it copies some files over ( 3 folders that start with $. I deleted those but something is still pointing to this folder now non existant. I need to know what is pointing it to these and how to remove it.

@@Howeitworks Andrew is this a Twitter or what type of chat that you want to do? The computer I am working on is off line not on the internet. I can show you pictures and point out what I did. I do appriciate the time. On the source screen I selected my OS boot disk Win 2000. I then launched it. It copies the initial files to a temp folder on the drive. once it is installed those folders vanish...I found those folders and deleted them. The goal is to find What is pointing it to those temp files that launch setup and to remove it to keep it from launching

Yeah I've slowed down with Windows 11 until I can get better hardware, which version of WinNTSetup are using?
