I applied for CCA around May, and took fingerprints on June since then I never got an email for the next step, got tired of waiting, so then I canceled my application on the beginning of August and tried to apply again for CCA the same day, it took me till September 9th, I got an email to go to a final processing on September 11th, i already did fingerprints so i knew that had to be the last step, I entered with a group to do some paperwork and they gave me a date to go for orientation on the 21st! And I'm so excited because it took a looong wait to get a response back and was totally worth it!!

I just took fingerprints today!Thank you for all the info!!

Just had to come back here and let you know I received my orientation letter…I starts Monday Tuesday and Wednesday

Hi Marie! I quit the post office due to my mom being sick about 5 years ago. I didn’t think to give them a notice because I was stressed and just had to leave. I know was put on a no hire list afterwards. But recently I applied and they sent me an congratulations offer letter. After, they made me do fingerprints. What are my chances on getting rehired? If they made me do fingerprints, is that a good sign I’ll be hired?

I applied october, got my fingerprint at end of november, How long does it take for me to get an orientation date?

I feel like this when one door closes another one open and maybe you wasn’t suppose to get it that time but keep applying and you will get it the second time don’t give up

Hey Marie hope I can hear back from you so I can get a piece of mind. I applied for a CCA. On May 22 I got an email that said USPS conditional job offer. It said "Congratulations! Based on the information provided in your application and assessment results (if applicable), we are pleased to offer you the position of CITY CARRIER ASSISTANT" etc etc etc..... right after that I got another email to accept or decline job offer. Of course I accepted. Five days later I got another email that said pre-employment processing. I went to that on June 4th in the morning...there was like 8-9 other people. We signed paperwork has a basic interview, that took took less then 5 minutes with everyone in the room, watched a video that basically showed us about the job and also took my fingerprints. Its been about 5 days and I have not received any follow up and I am getting so anxious. What do you suggest I do, does it sound to you that I am on track in getting the job? Also checked the status of my application on my online profile and it says in process...offer phase (ext) do you have any idea what that means? Hope to hear back in a response.

Hi I did my background check since December Iam on the pre hired list for about 6 weeks and Ofer phase (ext)for about 2 weeks for different positions than our for your help

I’m worried about what to wear going to do my fingerprints. I planned on dress pants, blouse and flats. Email says to wear proper footwear that covers entire foot. Would a nice blouse, jeans and boots or tennis shoes be okay?

Hi, I accepted a job the position being an RCA.. I go for fingerprints on Tuesday but haven’t heard anything about a drug test.. I have my medical card and was honest during the application when it asked. Will I still have a drug test? Thank you!!!

So I did my fingerprints etc... Already been scheduled for orientation tomorrow morning, but noticed I was supposed to go to the pre hire meeting today but by the time I realized it was too late. So does that mean I cant attend orientation tomorrow?

Hi Marie, I gave my finger printing and submitted my I-9 during the finger printing. But I am still waiting. I sent an email yesterday to HR asking if they need any documents from me to complete the prehiring process. But I have not received any reply for my email. Will they respond to my email or i need to wait? Thanks!

Hello! Question? What does the effective date mean? I received an email starting my application has been reached and the next effective date is for the end of this month. I’m not sure what it means. The letter requested that I have 24 hours to accept the position but that was it. I’m so confused because it didn’t mention anything else as far as orientation. Any advice?

Question. I missed my initial 5 day period in October to schedule my appointment for fingerprints. I just scheduled my appointment for this Friday. Does that mean I still have a chance to get in? Also do they make accommodations for those who are disabled? Love your channel

Hi Marie, I have my fingerprinting appointment tomorrow in Los Angeles plant on Central what building do you enter too ? The main building (post office) where the clerks are at or the other building on the right?? I’m confused 😕

I did my fingerprints back in October and it’s now November. Can you provide me with information that could cause an applicant denial of employment. I passed the assessment with 90% and I was called in for a fingerprints. I was recently doing security so I’m confident that there isn’t anything on my background.

I’m losing hope did finger prints two weeks ago today and still haven’t heard anything

Ok so right now I currently have an appointment for finger prints but I’d like to know why it says it might take 1-2 hours is the orientation included or why is it so long? Do they interview you at the spot? What should I expect at finger print process? I want to be better prepared. Also I use to have to two misdemeanors on my record, but the got expunged a couple years ago, should I mention that at the finger prints?

How long after your fingerprint session did you receive an invite to this next step? I came in for my fingerprints on 10/31/20 and it's been almost two weeks. We weren't told anything about next steps or anything after the session was over. We were just escorted out of the building and that was that. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Is the assessment and the exam the same thing? I’m waiting to get notification to be fingerprinted.

Good afternoon, I applied for PSE clerk on September 23, 2021. I received an offer/acceptance email on October 18, 2021, a fingerprint request on October 18.2021 and I submitted my background form on October 18, 2021. I submitted my fingerprints on October 27th, 2021 and my background was completed on November 19th, 2021. I looked on my USPS profile account and it says in process/offer phase (ext) … Do you have any idea how long it will be before I receive my orientation start date??

Do they count the weekend for the 5 days to do fingerprints because I got a notice on 10 Thursday and went Tuesday 15th. I haven’t heard anything and now it’s Friday 18th

I accepted it and same day did my backgroud check...till this day I havent heard from them but my application status says "hiring list." ... I havent done fingerprints, interview etc... any suggestions?

How do I schedule for the fingerprint verification I called the number provided and emailed the email they sent the day I got all the emails but I haven’t heard anything from them and it is almost at the deadline they gave me to get it done.

I did my fingerprints on November 12th... Being that the hiring process is long is it possible I can be hired in December/January as a 360 employee ?

I just got my fingerprints. But since I work with chemicals, my right hand finger prints barely showed up on the screen. I think I wore them away. I am reading the comments below, I guess two to three weeks of waiting is pretty standard. I guess that's why they say, Don't quit your job yet !! :)

Hi @Marie! I love watching all of your videos. I have a question that hopefully you or someone here can answer for me. I applied for an MHA position here in Lafayette, La. In July and went in for an interview and fingerprinting on August 12 and She told me that I would receive and email to complete my background check, I did. I’m just curious because I scored an 100 on the 473 Exam and my application status still say in process/offer ext. She did tell me that the process takes 4to 6 weeks. I’m still waiting patiently. Is this how long the process really takes?

I went in for my fingerprints, and the next process was fill out SF-85 background form, unfortunately when I clicked on the link it was not a PDF, or Dox document it was in code xx2f369 text my rep told me to try another computer which I tried on 2 with no luck. Hello Marie. I went for fingerprints for processing and they told me in ten days they will contact me for orientation. then I received another offer from handler position. I would rather the handler position. So if I cancel the processing position for the handler position would I still have to wait the same 10 days? Or will fingerprinting prices etc start over? Something with minds is weird, I did the background check, it’s saying it’s in the offer phase EXT I never got a letter to due fingerprints at all, my test scores was 97 and 100

But no document is attached to follow the the directions. The mail says the message is automatically generated and do not respond to this email. It looks like they asked me to do something.
