Excellent idea. Reducing costs by eliminating air filters, oil filters, oil changes, coolant, etc, etc. It's LONG overdue. Fleet vehicles like these are the perfect candidates for electric.
Test should be Alaska, Dakota, Minnesota, Upper new York ! The vast amount of walk carriers will be walking meaning the vehicle will be sitting. Some rural will have access on certain routes !
He's hoping the batteries will die when it gets too hot or cold and especially delay all the votes. We all know what DeJoy is pulling. They need to get rid of him!! And aside from that, batteries drain to 0 if you let the sit around. And once it get to a certain point -below battery maintenance level charge, the batteries won't charge at all.
Stop spreading false paranoic disinformation. These vehicles will drive just as fast and will not be destroying the environment like filthy combustion engines.
Alot of countries a lot colder then the USA are 60 percent electric and it isn't a problem...the loose a very small percent....I was in the UK visiting a friend at Christmas...his car lost 2 percent when it was 14 degrees...you do know our gas cars with the heat on gets less gas mileage...I don't see your point .....
No mail should be touched by anyone loading sorting or delivering. A.i has done all the quest work. All they need are drivers. Robots can do anything and faster
If those robots are so damn smart then why is the DPS ALWAYS so messed up? I'd MUCH rather have a human sorting it. Absolutely NO excuse whatsoever to receive a tray of mail and it be shuffled like a deck of cards!
Because that would be massive shipping cost's to get them all the way over there. You always deeploy it at the biggest/closest facilities first, then move your way out.
They're already doing that. Current combustion vans are LONG past their life spawn and are running on hopes and dreams even with all the work and money being poured into them.
It doesn't look "ugly and dumb" it actually looks rather sophisticated. I prefer these over disgusting air polluting combustion vehicles any day. Think before you speak please.
