An investigator working with the city has caught a USPS worker on camera illegally dumping loads of mail off the side of the road in a neighborhood near 71 Highway and Emanuel Cleaver II Boulevard.
HELL YES! This is a BIG ASS DEAL. If you screw with the mail at this level you deserve to SERVE TIME. What the HELL is wrong with people thinking it's ok to throw peoples drugs, financials, and other important correspondence away?
I agree with you. But you'd have to work for the USPS to understand why some employees do this. Constants threats, lack of training. Insufficient time provided to finish routes on time, while under constant harassment and pressure. Working for the USPS isn't easy. HOWERVER, NO ONE SHOULD DO SUCH THING.
The postal service should charge that postal worker with a federal offense for dumping US Mail at a trash site. Anytime someone tampers with the US Mail its an automatic federal offense of 5 years in prison, and a $250,000 fine.

Yeah, like ME. There have been a few times now I haven't received my medications despite the pharmacy showing proof they shipped them and it's a real hassle to get them replaced and reshipped. In the meantime I have to just go without my medications... something you should NEVER do. This video is from nearly three years ago and this problem is worse than ever now.

I am current cca, and no they money is no where near enough to make a living, unless u have been working in the usps for over 15 years then u will make decent money, great money with tons of overtime. Times DEFINITELY have changed since I was a kid. When I was a kid, people had work ethics and took pride in there jobs. Not so much today. Actually, yes you can track your ballot. You can do it one line through your state website. You can even update your voter registration info and find out where you’re registered to vote.

And when are looking for mail that you should received months ago and you never received it all and you start getting called from your bank about charges that you did not make..So i call again to complain to the 1800 number again and they tell u that they will be out on Monday to charge the mailbox and never showed up (What would you guys do ?)

Mandatory jail time with NO parole. The news person said officials would send out a "court summons"................ They should send out several armed deputies to immediately arrest the perp and several more with a search warrant for his house, car, storage units. They should also send out investigators to question everyone related to and/or known acquaintenances.

I worked for the federal government in DC for the USDA. 60% of the "employees" did nothing but socialize all day and draw a paycheck with doing NOTHING useful. The other 40 % did all of the real work. Blacks, Hispanics and Indians from India abused the system the worst.

Wife works for the USPS, no one gets fired, they get suspended and then brought back in later because no one wants to do that job. They have very strong unions and they can deflect any charge. They are never fully staffed and the mail never stops coming. It just keeps piling up. That is one thankless job.

He could have just taken the mail back and said he didn’t feel good and CCA could have pivoted the mail back out, yeah you would have carrier out until 8 pm, but at least it would be delivered. Or worst case scenario, curtail and delay the 1-2 hours that was dumped into the next day. I’m a postal supervisor and I have to unfortunately push my carriers to deliver 10-12 hours a day until all the mail and parcels are out of the building. No letters left in the building. I drive around and watch my carriers once they hit the streets and then check their vehicles once they have returned.

True, most the things sent through them are utter garbage. Real packages are rarely sent through them anymore. I can see why. I have a set of bracelets coming that were sent through them. Only coming from 2 states away, almost a week later and still not here. USPS is trash.
Sent a package from California to California, and it went errant to San Jose, Las Vegas, Texas, Tennessee, down to Texas and then to California again. This took a total of 2 weeks.

Not a YT vid but pen-pal in GA reported on an incident in GA a year or two back. USPS person in USPS truck was captured on a cell phone, taking mail and throwing over a fence into a drainage ditch (dry) I do NOT know why this person was not arrested, thrown in jail and tried for MAIL TAMPERING! Caused all kinds of delays with mail that had been tossed.

It's no different when carrier fails to deliver an express by the deadline. Not to mention dumping mail is also an immediate termination. If a supervisor told the carrier to dump the mail then they both lose their jobs.
The best way is to let CCA USPS works less... bc i know many places make CAA works more than 60 hours a week and it will stress them out if they work for a long hour. Why not let them work 40/hour a week and hire more people. That way, they don't have to dump it like that... if people work for a long hour..they do get tire... 8 hours a day is good enough... i hope they will change the law that USPS employees can work only 5 days a week and only 40 hours max...
Because that's more people to pay benefits and pension for... Most of the overtime is seasonal... I know they are pushed to the limit though and I feel for them. Congress screwed the USPS years ago, they've lost billions a year since.
Why I quit, at first I thought it was cool, but every week I only got 1 day off and sometimes they would call me in on my day off, honestly I quit because it took a toll on me really really quick shits crazy af

Not all the routes are the same. Some are really long plus maybe he's no even a full time employee. USPS now a days dont want to pay full benefits and want to pay less so they hire part time mail carriers. In other words a lot of work and no pay. I dont blame the guy. Its ridiculous they want mailmans to deliver all that non profit stuff. All people need is just one letter

Our mail carrier is amazing! He runs to deliver mail from his truck to the mailboxes and ALWAYS delivers to the correct recipient. Substitute mail carriers arrive later and get the mail in the wrong mailbox. Good thing our regular mail carrier is almost always at work!

And even after court order the USPS to deliver mails 100%, it ended up 10% under each day for at least 5 days in a row....that was why counting was extended 3 days after election day, which ended up litigated in court....
